I'm Only Now Watching Invincible
I don't know how I missed this cartoon when it came out in 2021. Maybe people around me just didn't talk much about it. But when the last season came out this year I heard a lot about it from the people around me and even on Social Media.
Then I found out a lot has been said about this cartoon and that a lot of people actually love it and the fan base is quite huge. I started wondering how I missed it and decided to watch it at last this month after putting it off for later.
I found out what it was about and I was really wondering if a superhero cartoon can ever do it for me as superhero stuff seems like an overly thrashed theme. One of the reasons I was able to go on with it was because of The Boys.
The Boys is a superhero series too and it had a crazy twist that made it one of the greatest creations out there, I thought there was no way Invincible would be a regular superhero stuff too like Marvel and DC where the superheroes are all about fighting villains and nothing more.
So I watched the first episode, Omni man seemed to be the major hero, he fought villains, has a family, a son growing up to be a superhero too, etc. There were other heroes too. It was all about fighting villains. I was getting impatient, where is the twist?
Then after fighting a villain in the beginning, towards the ending all the superheroes were getting summoned again to fight another threat, I was so disappointed that it was all about fighting villains and was sure I wasn't going to watch another episode once this first one ended.
Then the twist hit me! Omni Man was the one who summoned them, not for any villain, but because he wanted to kill them all. And he did! He killed off all the main superheroes right there.
Goddamn! My interest was piqued immediately, my attention fully grasped. Now this was a series I can watch. And I binged the hell out of it and finished all three seasons in just a few days. I really loved this series, and I can't wait for the next season.
After the twist in the first episode the other thing that kept the series really interesting was the amount of beating the main character "Invincible" had to take through out the movie. My fucking God! 🤣 I've never seen a main character take that much beating.
Many times it would look like he's about to take on just a small challenge but it would turn out to be a humongous challenge dishing out some crazy ass whooping and suffering to him.
It was so sad but still kinda funny how much ass whooping this guy got through out the movie when he was supposed to be a very strong superhero, and it all made sense still that his strength wasn't enough in many cases.
I definitely can't wait for the next season. Who else is a fan of this?

Honestly, I had the same reaction bro. 😂 that first episode twisted my brain like, whattttt just happened. I remember staring at the screen like "no they didn't just do that". And don't even get me started at how much Invincible was beaten up 😂💀 like bro couldn't catch a break. At some point I started praying for him because e no get how person go dey collect beating like that and still show up the next day 😂😂
But for real, invincible was not your regular superhero show at all

Hahahah, omo them beat that guy wetin no good, I swear 🤣🤣. Almost every episode him dey get near death experience 🤣🤣
Invincible completely shocked me with that first-episode twist! I thought it’d be the usual superhero stuff, but wow Omni-Man flipped everything. The beatings Invincible took? Brutal yet gripping. Definitely one of the wildest and most intense animated series I’ve seen.
