What I Make of the New Game of Thrones Spin-off: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (No Spoilers)

After Game of Thrones ended, amidst the entire outcry about the ending and the poverty of the season finale there came so many news and rumours of new spinoffs. One of them was this one about Jon Snow:
It was looking very promising but at the same time I wondered if they could pull it off. Jon Snow back at the Night's Watch wasn't exciting at all, but of course there's no limit to what a good writers' room can do. But it seems they couldn't make it work or probably didn't really want to, because here is what Google AI summary had to say:

Another one that was a rumour that turned out to be a reality was the House of The Dragon (HOTD). I was really excited to see that one, anything with the Westeros world was welcome for me, I hadn't fallen in love with any series and about everything about it like I did with GOT. GOT is my favourite series and even though the final season wasn't perfect it didn't make me hate or dislike it in any way.
Watching HOTD was great even though it didn't meet up to the standards of GOT, it still kinda came close and had the required nostalgia, I enjoyed that and enjoyed the Season 2 too.
Then out of nowhere I came across a social media post talking about episode 1 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, I was surprised because I never heard anything about it before and was wondering how come it went from rumour to hype to release without me hearing anything about it.
I decided immediately that I was going to watch it but I wasn't expecting much from it, because I thought it was just an attempt to force things and I had no idea it was completely based on a novella George RR Martin himself wrote. I previously thought it was most likely a story by other writers trying to make something from the GOT world.
Then again I didn't get to find out it was written by Martin until I finished the episode 1. What happened was that I liked it, I liked the way the story was going, liked the characters, liked the dialogue and was like wow this is quite impressive what's going on? Then I went online to do some more digging and that's when I found that it was from a Martin novella.
Dang!
I was now a lot more excited. I'm so happy I didn't hear about this series before it was released or else I would have been dying of suspense. A GOT spinoff based completely on a book by Martin definitely calls for elation.
I'm now into this series like crazy. I've watched the two episodes released so far and I can't wait for the next one. I also think I'll find the book and read it, since it is just a novella it should be easier to finish than the huge books GOT was based on (not that I don't like reading or anything, just that after watching the story on screen reading it becomes more boring especially when the book is huuuuge!).
I can't wait for more, and knowing how they'll never let a popular story end easily I know that if the show gathers some popularity (as it has the potential to) then we could see up to six seasons from it probably. We're probably in here for a ride 😎.
