A Glimpse Into My Holiday Fun

The past few days have been full of peace and calm for most of us as we get to spend the holidays with our family and loved ones. Everyone loves holidays and so do I. This year has been a very busy one for me, from being a student to fighting my way to graduation. Travelling, making plans and also finding ways and means to develop my. I would say that this year I’ve been very intentional about my personal growth and next year it’s going to be more personal for me.

With all that’s going on with me, I was glad the holidays came fast. Right after we entered the month of December I didn’t feel like going to work anymore cos I felt I needed a break but well, going to work wasn’t a negotiation since I had already taken three weeks leave and promised my boss to be back to work as soon as I got back. Being someone who likes to stick to her promises, I went back even when I knew it was days to Christmas.

I wish everyday was Christmas because I get to have the who day to myself. The past few years, I used to spend my holidays at home with my family because I was a student then and we were on holidays during this season so I really didn’t have a choice. Things feel a bit different this year as I’m spending the holidays alone and sometimes with my friends. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad experience for me but it could have been better. Now, let’s have a peak into my holidays.

I’m sure you’re expecting something extra, I’m sorry to tell you there’s nothing extra. I had no plans for these holidays so this is what I’ve been doing with my time. I haven’t been able to watch as much movies as I planned to this year and I have a long list of movies I planned to watch but didn’t have time. Well, now I have time so I’m mostly holed up in my room watching series, or cartoons. That’s what a perfect day looks like for me now. Watching movies, eating, and being on hive.

On days I don’t feel like watching movies, I pay a visit to my friends @abu78 , @yahuzah and @rubilu. I know what you must be thinking.😂 Yeah these guys are just a different breed of people but they’re my only friends here to I’m stuck with them.😂 Oh maybe next year I’ll try getting new friends so I’ll dump these ones. Just kidding. Yeah so if I’m not holed up in my room watching movies, I’d be hanging out with my weird friends who always make fun of me.

Also, I’m also doing a lot of exploring these days. Being indoors all day isn’t really good for me so sometimes I try to go out for a walk to explore at night even though the weather isn’t that good around here. A few days ago, I want for a walk with discovered this game. I used to see it a kid but I didn’t even know it was a game. Since I hadn’t tried it before I decided to go play for the fun. This coin sucking machine ended up swallowing all the coins.😂 I would say it was partly because I didn’t know how to play and I always kept going in for the wrong thing so I kept losing. I will surely go back there where I get more coins for my comeback. This isn’t the end.😂

So far, this is what my vacation has looked like but I’m most definitely going to have a lot of things to do in the coming days as I’ve already started making plans for the new year.I hope you enjoyed reading this, thank you for your time.
