Pathaan: A Comeback Worth the Hype
Hello beautiful people!
I hope you’re having a great week and enjoying your day as much as possible. Today, I bring you premium gist on this movie I saw today which I think you’d love to here.😅
All the way from India , I present to you the Bollywood movie which made me actually understand what premium Bollywood meant. When we talk about Bollywood movies we all know what first comes to mind. Someone dying before the bullet even leave the gun or even the explosion happening before the bomb even lands.
Now stay with me. Let’s dogs right into it!
Pathaan, an Indian agent who was thought to be dead after being taken in by the Russians shows up for revenge. How did he get himself in this situation?
It all started when he got into a severe accident on a mission. After going to rehab, he decides to form a new department with the help of his boss for people who had to quit being agents due to health reasons or were forced to resign due to their conditions. These people still wanted to serve but they were not being given the chance to due to their conditions. Regardless, people like him always wanted to serve because they believed it was all about the mindset.
And so this department was created with Pathaan leading with his boss. But one day, a Pakistani general hires a terrorist , Jim who was an ex Indian agent. Jim was an Indian agent who turned against his country because he felt betrayed by his own motherland when they refused to pay a ransom to let him and his pregnant wife go free after being kidnapped. This lead to his wife and unborn baby’s dead and since then, he has vowed to make life hell for India.
Jim’s path crossed with Pathaans while they were both on a mission to get their hands on someone Russia was hiding. For Jim, it was a contract he had with the Pakistani general and for Pathaan, he wanted to stop Jim and the general from wiping out the people of India.
On this mission, Pathaan encounters Rabai who was on Jim’s team but acted like she wasn’t just so Pathaan could lead her to what both parties wanted. At the end of the day, Pathaan ended up heartbroken and betrayed by Rubai and when he saved from prison by his friend Tiger, he vowed to take his revenge on Jim and his people while preventing them from wiping out the Indian race.
Would his love story turn out well this time around or would it end up as a messy mission? You’d have to find out.
I’d rate this movie a 9/10. Generally, I’d say it was a very nice show because I really enjoyed the plot. Aside the graphics which got me cracking up at every point, I loved everything about this movie.
It wasn’t the usual love story every India movie had, this gave a whole different vibe altogether and that was just it for me. If you have a few hours of your time spare, you should see this movie.
Thanks for reading!
