Hello, nice people of Hive, welcome to a new review. I'm not much of a horror guy myself (recommend good horror movies please), I don't love the idea of suffering voluntarily, however, my boyfriend has put me on this adventure and I have to confess that I'm enjoying it.

De una vez les adelanto que yo no soy mucho del género de terror (recomienden pelis de terror buenas please), no me encanta la idea de sufrir voluntariamente, sin embargo, mi novio me ha internado en esta aventura y tengo que confesar que me está gustando.
Today we are going to talk about Annabelle, the first movie of a trilogy that I will be reviewing, they are part of the "The Conjuring" (Warren Files) universe, I would have liked to talk about it in depth but since I only find lousy reviews of two movies from this universe, I decided to only watch "The Conjuring" trilogy and "Annabelle", I am not going to force myself to suffer for a clearly bad movie.
Hoy vamos a hablar sobre Annabelle, la primera película de una trilogía que estaré reseñando, son parte del universo de “El Conjuro” (Expediente Warren), me hubiese gustado hablar de él a profundidad pero en vista de que solamente encuentro pésimas reseñas de dos películas de este universo, decidí solo ver la trilogía de “El Conjuro” y “Annabelle”, no voy a obligarme a sufrir por una película claramente mala.
I warn you that they are not cinematic gems, but each one has its virtues and flaws in my opinion, read on and I'll tell you how the first one did. There may be a little bit of spoilers in there.

In the first installment we have John and Mia Form, a quiet and normal marriage. Although not so normal if we take into account that Mia loves ugly dolls and was dying to have Annabelle, and that John gave such a horrible thing to his wife, but well, let's go on.
En la primera entrega tenemos a John y a Mia Form, un matrimonio tranquilo y normal. Aunque no tan normal si tenemos en cuenta que Mia adora las muñecas feas y se moría por tener a Annabelle, y que John le consiguió semejante cosa horrible a su mujer, pero bueno, sigamos
What is neither normal nor much less quiet in the Form's life is that their neighbors have an adopted daughter who ran away to join a satanic cult (this daughter is a girl from "Annabelle 2" which chronologically is set before the first movie). This girl returns home to murder her parents, breaks into the Form's house with a boy, stabs pregnant Mia and the girl commits suicide with the doll in her arms. As a result of some kind of supernatural issue, her blood falls into the doll's eyes and a paranormal entity is unleashed..
Lo que no es normal ni mucho menos tranquilo en la vida de los Form es que sus vecinos tienen una hija adoptada que se escapó para unirse a una secta satánica (esta hija es una niña de “Annabelle 2” que cronológicamente se ubica antes de la primera película). Esta chica regresa a su casa para asesinar a sus padres, se mete en casa de los Form con un muchacho, apuñalan a Mia embarazada y la chica se suicida con la muñeca en brazos. Producto de una especie de cuestión sobrenatural, su sangre cae en los ojos de la muñeca y se desata un ente paranormal.
It's an entertaining film, I like that it starts fast, but then it gets a little slow when they find out what's going on. The scares are predictable, they continually play music that, when it slows down suddenly, it's a clear indication that you're going to play something that will shock me and it doesn't surprise me that much.
Es una cinta entretenida, me gusta que empieza rápido, sin embargo después se torna un poco lenta cuando averiguan lo que está pasando. Los sustos son predecibles, colocan contínuamente música que, cuando se frena de golpe, es un claro indicio de que me vas a colocar algo que me impacte y no me sorprende tanto.
This movie very much marks the intentions of this demon: to take a soul. So that makes the protagonist my favorite of the trilogy because all the annoying horror movie scares (things falling and moving on their own, chases that go nowhere) have a meaning: to drive Mia to despair, to get her attention, to make her fear for her daughter's life so that she will give up her soul. Besides Mia in some parts have common sense, that in horror movies is almost surprising.
Esta película marca mucho las intenciones de este demonio: llevarse un alma. Entonces eso hace que la protagonista sea mi favorita de la trilogía porque todos los sustos fastidiosos de película de terror (cosas que se caen y se mueven solas, persecuciones que no llegan a ningún lado) tienen un sentido: llevar a Mia a la desesperación, llamar su atención, que tema por la vida de su hija para que entregue su alma. Además Mía en algunas partes tienen sentido común, eso en el cine de terror es casi sorprendente.
There are a lot of bad parts too or even comical, but I think all in all it was pretty decent. My favorite scene is the one where he finds the doll in the crib, hits it over and over again, throws it on the floor and it's his daughter, then picks it up in his arms and it's a different doll laughing. That's what I was referring to in the previous point: he drives her to despair and at least that's well posed.
Hay muchas partes malas también o incluso cómicas, pero creo que en sumatoria estuvo bastante decente. Mi escena favorita es en la que se encuentra a la muñeca en la cuna, la golpea una y otra vez, la lanza al piso y es su hija, luego la toma en brazos y es una muñeca diferente que se ríe. A eso me refería en el punto anterior: la lleva al desespero y al menos eso está bien planteado.
On the other hand, when it all ends the baby appears in the middle of the crib next to them, I don't understand that, did it prevent them from seeing her or did it magically disappear to the girl? I didn't really understand the ending and I think it was a bit easy.
Por otro lado, cuando finaliza todo la bebé aparece en medio de la cuna junto a ellos, no entiendo eso, ¿evitó que ellos la vieran o desapareció mágicamente a la niña? No entendí mucho el final y creo que fue un poco fácil.
My final score is 6.5/10 because it's better than all of its successors, but that's the subject of another review, so stay tuned for next week's review of part two.

Estoy de acuerdo que el comienzo es lo mejor del film, esa dinámica bastante terrorífica de la secuencia del ataque en la casa me gustó mucho y en mi opinión se pierde cuando se pasa a lo que es la parte sobrenatural; siempre he pensado que la introducción de Annabelle en El Conjuro funcionó mejor que en lo que se hizo en el primer spin-off del conocido "The Conjuring Universe".
Me falta redactar, pero ya me vi Annabelle 2 y la historia en sí está buena. Mi problema es cuando abusa de los sustos y no te da terror. Solo unas pocas partes me asustaron pero porque empaticé con Mia y su desesperación me afectaba.

Esta saga de películas de terror, cada una de ellas cuenta con un gran toque, donde muchas dan miedo. Esta que nos compartes, la vi y esa muñeca no es nada agradable y la forma como va matando y apareciendo no es normal, e incluso yo no sé porque aceptaron esa muñeca jajaja. Luego de esta sacaron varias y han sido muy buena, así que tienes una gran lista de películas por ver.
Me he visto algunas, me falta redactar, pero voy en orden cronológico por ahora. ¿Has notado que la muñeca se pone más fea a medida que se desatan los hechos? En las tres películas pasa. Se ve como fea y ya al principio pero luego es una cosa que yo no aceptaría ni a palos.
La reacción de Mía cuando apareció la muñeca en la mudanza después de haberla echado en la basura en otra ciudad de "ah, sí, quedémonosla" AMIGA SALGA DE AHÍ jsjsjsj
