USA, 2025, science fiction, director: James Cameron, starring: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver.

Why does someone choose the path of collaborationists? The reason is not always cowardice, sometimes it is an insult to the world in which you live and to the Creator, who allows injustice. But does it matter what the reason is? The origins of collaborationism, in my opinion, is one of the main themes of the new “Avatar”. And in general, there are many themes here and they are not cramped, because life is multifaceted.

What are the deep roots of racism? As long as everything is fine, the difference does not matter, but when the other person makes a mistake, it seems to us that he did it precisely because he is “not like that”.

This tale takes us to the darkest corners of sorrow, where the weight of guilt can be overwhelming. It's a story that makes us question what's right and wrong, and whether seeking revenge is worth losing our humanity. Even when we're fighting for something we believe in, we have to remember that the end doesn't always justify the means - some actions can never be justified, no matter how noble the goal may seem. It's a reminder that our choices have consequences, and that we must always consider the impact they have on ourselves and those around us.

A special place is occupied by reflection on the essence of parenthood and the connection between generations. Who are the real parents: those who gave life, or those who raised and filled it with meaning?

The movie also explores the idea of destruction and how some creatures don't appreciate the beauty around them, instead they try to destroy it. At the same time, it shows a true leader who can bring different groups together when the planet is in danger. All of these themes are connected to old biblical ideas, like the story of the Immaculate Conception, which you can hear echoes of in the film. It's like the movie is saying that even in a world with a lot of destruction, there is still hope for unity and protection of the planet. The leader in the film is able to inspire the different groups to work together, which is a powerful message. The biblical motifs add a deeper layer of meaning to the story, and make you think about the bigger picture.

This film must be watched in 3 D, just like that. Because it is simply created for this. The viewer literally falls into the primordial world, it seems that take a step - and you will find yourself in the transparent water of Pandora, stretch out your hand - and you will touch its inhabitants.

The Na'vi's world is truly captivating, with their profound bond to the Creator - a female figure, which I find particularly appealing, given the life-giving role of women and the way patriarchal societies have stripped us of our goddess-like status. The Na'vi's ability to communicate with the dead, and to physically interact with nature and animals, is a remarkable thing. It's as if they possess a deep understanding of the natural world, one that we may have once had, but have since lost. This film serves as a poignant reminder of what we've forgotten, a echo of a time when we were more in tune with the world around us. It's a powerful commentary on what we've lost, and what we might regain if we were to reestablish our connection to the natural world. The Na'vi's way of life is a testament to the beauty of a world where humans live in harmony with nature, and it's a lesson that we would do well to learn from.

An extremely cool movie.
