MOVIE REVIEW - MANIFEST
(Manifest) Montego Air Flight 828, flying from Jamaica to New York on April 4, 2013, vanished. The plane reappeared on November 4, 2018, at Stewart International Airport, with 191 passengers and crew members who had been presumed dead for over 5.5 years.
During the flight, the plane experienced a strange incident known as "the Glow," which caused time expansion. While only a brief moment passed for the passengers, 5.5 years passed for everyone else. The passengers were the same age when they board the flight while others had amazing changes. For example Cal and Olive were twins, but Olive now looks older than Cal who was among the passengers.
Cal and Olive before Cal boarded the flight with his dad, and anut Mick.
When they land
Some lost their loved ones. Upon their return, the passengers began experiencing "Callings," mysterious visions and voices that guided them toward specific actions. They were to follow their callings, and solve the puzzle, many of their callings saved life, though some were so afraid to follow their callings, which led them losing their minds.
As the passengers worked to understand and fulfill their Callings, they discovered that their actions could determine the fate of humanity. They were tasked with preventing a catastrophic event known as the "Death Date," a volcanic apocalypse that would claim millions of lives. Throughout the series, the passengers uncovered clues about their disappearance and the purpose of their return.
The passengers' efforts truly led to a critical conclusion, where they boarded Flight 828 again and underwent a final trial. The passengers who had fulfilled their Callings and acted selflessly were given a second chance, while those who failed to follow their callings faced consequences.
Manifest explored themes of faith, redemption, and the interconnectedness of the passengers' lives. Through their experiences, the passengers discovered that their time jump was not just a physical phenomenon but also a spiritual one, forcing them to confront their past and find new purpose. The series brought the story full circle, which provides a sense of resolution and new beginning for the characters.

Saanvi on the other hand is a researcher. She want as far as to find ways to stop their callings which almost cost her, her life. Even the Federal Government were using them as Lab Rats.
