Review of K-Drama Time Traveler: The First Night with the Duke

Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all well. I recently finished watching a drama about time travel. It's a fantasy drama, of course, called "The First Night with the Duke." It stars Girls' Generation's Seohyun and 2PM's Taecyeon. Both are from a famous boy group and girl group in Korea.

These years, both of them have focused on acting, so I'm glad they were able to work together. These two groups used to be quite close. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this drama. It tells the story of a college student who swaps roles with a character in a comic book. The main character in the drama is, of course, Cha Seon Chae, played by Girls' Generation's Soehyeon.

At the beginning, the story tells of Soehyeon experiencing a tragic life in the real world. Soehyeon also reads a lot of digital comics. Eventually, the comic book ends, and Soehyeon suddenly finds herself in the comic. In the comic, Soehyeon becomes the character Cha Seon Chae. Cha Seon Chae, in her favorite comic, isn't the main character.

Rather, she's a supporting character. Being a comic book character, Cha Seon Chae ends up being the main character. As the title suggests, this is about a first night in the Joseon era. But there are many first nights in marriage. This is about a one-night stand during the Joseon era. Who does Cha Seon Chae sleep with?

It turns out Cha Seon Chae sleeps with the main male character in the comic, Yi Boem, played by Taecyeon. Yi Boem is assertive, fierce, and prone to killing. After his one-night stand with Cha Seon Chae, he falls in love. What about the ending?

The conflict in this drama is actually quite interesting. There's a kidnapping toward the end, which is quite tense. However, unlike other dramas, this drama only has 12 episodes. So, I think the brief conflict isn't too long.

What about the ending? Cha Seon Chae chooses not to return to the real world. However, her real-life role is filled by a character from the novel. Cha Seon Chae lives happily with many children. This is a fantasy story, and its purpose is to entertain. One key message from this drama is to believe in miracles.

Everything will be easy. That's all I can tell you. What do you think? Have you watched it too? Is it similar to my story? I look forward to your comments.
