I've read the book and watched the movie both wonderful especially because in my country these kind of trains are popular in the past and many southern kids went to the north as in the years many southern people move to the north for finding better living conditions.

It's interesting to read what you've written; from what I can see, you're from Italy. I didn't live through that time either, but I've read a lot about the war and the post-war period. It was a truly complicated and very cruel situation, especially for the most vulnerable.
