Black book is an interesting movie, a combination of action with important social themes, particularly corruption, injustice and the abuse of power. When people lose faith in the justice system and decide to seek justice for themselves just like what we see now a days in some countries, then what happens ?

‎Release in 2023 was the powerful tale of justice movie called the Black Book. The movie was directed by Editi Effiong. Some major characters in the movie include;
‎Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Sam Dede Alex Usifo, Ade Laoye and several other talented actors.
‎
‎The movie tells a story about revenge, injustice and struggle for justice especially in a society where powerful and influential people will escape justice. The movie truly tells a real life story , especially what we are facing in some countries.

‎RMD played the role of a former assassin who later left his sinful and violent life to live a peaceful life. But everything changed and he returned back to base when his son Damilola was wrongfully accused of kidnaping and was killed by some corrupt police officers and the authorities failed to deliver justice. The was when RMD named Edima in the movie decided to revisit his past life and returned to the dangerous world that he abandoned. All he wanted was to seek for the justice that the authority could not give him. He was ready to find those responsible for his son's death and make them pay for it.

‎Black Book has a strong storyline, combining police brutality, revenge, political corruption, crime and all these makes it interesting to watch . The movie also shows how people in authority and power can manipulate the justice and the system for their on benefit.

‎I would recommend Black Book to any kind of audience, because it clearly touches all parts of life. The production quality of the movie is great.
