‎While strolling through Facebook for my fashion illustration inspiration, I stumbled upon a K-drama group. Someone posted a series that caught my attention, i went to the comment section and ended of loving the funny comment. I'm glad I watched it, no regrets.

CASHERO is about a superhero named Sang Woong, a modest civil servants who gains superpowers tied to the amount of money he carries. He teams up with other superheros including one whose powers activate when they drink and a lady with calorie - fueled psychic powers. They team up to battle a mysterious group targeting their powers. Cashero was released on December 26, 2025 and contains 8 episodes.

‎The beginning of this show got me hooked because it reminded me of STRONG GIRL BONG SOON. Cashero brings a fresh take on the superhero story, with a hero whose powers are tied to his wealth. What really resonated with me were the relatable moments and the characters sense of responsibility.

‎The K-drama was thought- provoking, making the hero choose between saving lives or saving money. It's a reminder of how frustrating it can be to be broke and unsure of how to move forward, especially when you're carrying the weight of responsibility for your family. As a provider, your often forced to put others first, making sacrifices and prioritizing their needs over your own. But when you've financial stability, it can bring a sense of security and happiness, knowing that many problems can be solved.

‎I was watching this movie when he made a statement ' If I have the money, I'll spend all my time doing good deed" it made me realize that sometimes we excuses or promises fully considering implications. Wen we have wealth or power, it's easy to get caught up in it and forget our values. but the truth is, there's no excuses for not helping others, no matter how little we have. Even small acts of kindness can speak volumes about our character. And it's sad when people forget those who helped them when they were in need. That's life, I suppose.

‎I enjoyed the main character's acting but I was expecting a more traditional superhero storyline with him being a good fighter. Instead, the show took a creative approach by tying his power to his wealth. I find it fascinating to see how he becomes powerless without money and powerful with it. It's a clever commentary on the phase 'Money is power.' In real life, we often feel frustrated when we're struggling financially, but having money can give us a sense of security and freedom. The show does a great job of highlighting this theme.

‎I thoroughly enjoyed this series, which had tremendous potential. The cast delivered outstanding performances, bringing their characters to life with sincerity and naturalness. The show's emotional scenes were particularly impactful, highlighting that true heroism isn't about showcasing power, but about being kind and genuinely supporting others in their times of need. The series resonated with me on a deep level, making me reflect on the realities of our daily lives. I'd give it a well-deserved 9/10. Kudos to the entire team.

When I saw the title, I had visions of a modern day Robin Hood, stealing from the rich to give to the poor!

I guess it's similar because in one scene, he uses someone's money to fight.
