Italian film “Il Ferroviere(The Railroad Man)”/イタリア映画「鉄道員」

This film depicts joy, anger, sadness, and amusement of average people living in Italy after World War II through the eyes of a child.
The main character is a small boy, whose father is a locomotive engineer. My father was a locomotive engineer, too.
This film reminds me of a past I don't want to remember.
In the film, railroad workers go on strike, but his father drives a locomotive. He has broken strike.
My father is now in a nursing home and can no longer walk, but he was taking a dance classe in the past. And he danced at the dance recital. Music that he used was the opening theme of The Railroad Man. His dance instructor chose it. I can't stop crying when I hear this theme.

この映画は第二次世界大戦後のイタリアに生きる庶民の喜怒哀楽が子どもの目を通して描かれているとのこと。
主人公は小さい男の子。彼の父親が鉄道の機関士。私の父も鉄道の機関士でした。
この映画は思い出したくない過去を思い出させます。
映画の中でストライキが決行されますが、彼の父親が運転をしてスト破りをします。
私の父は今は老人施設に入って、歩けなくなっていますが、過去に社交ダンスの教室に通っていました。そして、発表会で踊りました。「鉄道員」のオープニングテーマ曲を使いました。選んだのは彼のダンス講師でした。このテーマ曲を聴くと涙が止まらないです。
