I don't think there are that many films out there that are perfect adaptations of the films they were inspired by. It's an entirely different thing to visually represent things, and it usually limits the viewers imagination, so not many people may enjoy that.

I didn't even know this much about the film, but now I do as you have enlightened me. When you finish the film, I'd love to know what you think about it in comparison with the book.

True, I appreciate it when they adapt it well. Will update once I see it.
I did see a Chinese film around the short story called "The Wandering Earth" by the same author Liu Cixin. Do see if you can find it... it was fun.

I already like Liu Cixin now. I learned he writes science-based stories in different genres. I'll check The Wandering Earth out. Thanks.
