I hope you are doing well, it's been a while since I brought you a review🤭, these days I came with the feeling of wanting to talk and talk about the series I'm currently watching, and what better way to share it with you! As some of you may already know I am a huge fan of the Star Wars Fantasy saga ✨ and I am currently watching the series that premiered 5 weeks ago "Ahsoka" beyond telling you that I am delighted with this work of the hand of Davi Filoni, this series covers many sections of other Star Wars series and movies that if you have not seen them, it is difficult to understand it, however that's what we are here for 😉 it turns out that the Bum of Ahsoka's series made me remember the things that happen in the Star Wars Rebels series, and there is so much connection between these two series that some fans have called Ahsoka's series as the 5th season of Rebels, and because of this I started to watch again its 4th seasons and I said "we must talk about this" so my dear Hivers, let's talk about Star Wars Rebels, as always I offer a brief summary and comments about this series

Star Wars Rebels is centered 20 years after Order 66 and the fall of the Galactic Republic at the time of the rise of Emperor Palpatine's Empire, our adventure begins on the planet Lozal with a young peasant boy named Ezra Bridger, who is an orphan and lives alone outside the capital of Lozal, making a living by stealing from local businesses to survive, Until he runs into some aliens from the planet who were stealing some shipments from the Empire, which Ezra intercepts and takes the goods, arriving home believing himself safe, he realizes that these people are more cunning than he thinks and so he meets in an unfriendly way what would be his team for the rest of his life known as the crew of the Ghost to Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Zed and the astromech Chopper. Although their integration to the crew of the Phantom was not the best, soon a common goal would unite them for the following adventures, the cruel regime of the Galactic Empire would make a dent in their decision to do anything against the injustice of the Empire, leaving the boredom and loneliness of their planet, Bridger along with his new friends begin a series of actions against small imperial sectors, without realizing that they made believe the living flame of the Rebellion and in turn, the empire would do everything possible to destroy them.

The series is available on Disney+ and has 4 seasons.

I'll be honest, the first chapters of the 1st season are boring, but they are a necessary evil, boring why? Because the events to introduce you to what will be the plot of the series occur very slow, with activities that do more than waste time bordering the limit of what could be "filler" however it is not filler because without that we would not know how it starts and who are who, but they made the chapters with very boring plots and with little action or any element that a fan or not of Star Wars call attention, it seemed very children's series and nothing entertaining, however that the first chapters, in my opinion in chapter 2 where we discover that Kanan is a Jedi and Ezra is sensitive to the force and this is ready to train him, and in chapter 4 where the Grand Inquisitor appears is where it starts to get good the series, the other chapters are boring according to me, I'm not saying that you do not see them but I warn you that they add up, but they are boring 🤣.

Butoo, already from chapter 4 and the other 3 seasons are a gem! Not to mention season 2 with the return of Darth Vader as the Sith and villain that he is, that only with his presence imposes terror and how his power in the dark side of the force becomes noticeable, no doubt the Darth Vader we all want to see beyond the comics. We also have other characters worthy of the success of Rebels as the great Moff Tarkin, the return of the forgotten Sith Darth Maul that we did not know anything about him since his resurrection in The Clone Wars along with Captain Rex that we do not see also since the end of the Clone Wars, the return of Ahsoka that just in these chapters is where is the connection with the current series that bears his name and at the end of the last season with the appearance of Emperor Palpatine or Darth Sidiuos. Also Rebels brings us a new character for the saga as a villain Grand Admiral Thram, who certainly since his appearance, the advantage of the protagonists over the empire is limited and demonstrated the ineffectiveness of the imperial forces against the rebels if you are not a good military strategist.

Now, why is Rebels so important in Star Wars now? And not just for the Ahsoka series but it is one of the backbone pieces of the Saga, but why? Well despite the fact that Rebels in its beginning was a project to replace the already successful series of The Clone Wars but was cancelled when Disney bought Lucasfilm for being "violent" 🙄 Disney wanted to give us a new non-violent product but that will continue the legacy of The Clone Wars with the same animation and the use of the lightsabers, however as I mentioned this was an almost irreversible failure with the first few episodes being boring, and the introduction of the new story of these rebels is not entertaining despite the fact that it was a series that would cover the events of the imperial era up to the Rogue One movie and Episode 4 of a New Hope. But miraculously Disney came to its senses and not only continued with The Clone Wars project but also improved the Rebels chapters, adding more action and plots that were linked to the Star Wars story we already know, such as the return of Captain Rex and the clones, the appearance of Darth Vader or Ahsoka. It also exploited themes that had not been developed in other products such as the arc of the Mandalorians with Sabine Wren that was the catapult for the series of The Mandalorian. Rebels certainly lives up to its goal of giving us a story of hope against the Empire, it was also a hope for the Star Wars franchise and future projects.

Espero se encuentren muy bien, ya hacía tiempo de que no les traía una reseña🤭, en estos días venía con la sensación de querer hablar y hablar de las series que estoy viendo actualmente, y que mejor forma de compartirlo con ustedes! Como algunos ya sabrán soy un enorme fans de la saga de Fantasía de Star Wars ✨ y estoy actualmente viendo la serie que se estrenó hace 5 semanas “Ahsoka” más allá de decirles que estoy encantado con esta obra de la mano de Davi Filoni, este serie abarca muchos tramos de otras series y películas de Star Wars que si nos los has visto, es difícil entenderla, sin embargo para eso estamos aquí 😉 resulta que el Bum de la serie de Ahsoka me hizo recordar las cosas que ocurren en la serie de Star Wars Rebels, y es tanta la conexión de estás dos series que algunos fans la han llamado a la serie de Ahsoka como la 5ta temporada de Rebels, y dado a esto me puse a ver de nueva sus 4ta Temporadas y dije “hay que hablar de esto” así que mis queridos Hivers, hablemos de Star Wars Rebels, como siempre les ofrezco un breve resumen y comentarios acerca de esta serie La serie está disponible en Disney+ cuenta con 4 temporadas

Star Wars Rebels se centra 20 años después de la orden 66 y la caída de la República Galáctica en la época del auge del Imperio del emperador Palpatine, nuestra aventura comienza en el planeta Lozal con un joven niño campesino llamado Ezra Bridger, que es huérfano y vive solo a las fuera de la capital de Lozal, ganándose la vida robando a los comercios locales para sobrevivir, hasta que se topa con unas personas extranjeras del planeta que se encontraban robando unos cargamentos del Imperio, los cuales Ezra intercepta y les quita la mercancía, llegando a su hogar creyéndose a salvo, se da cuenta que estás personas son más astutas de lo que piensa y así conoce de una manera no amigable a lo que serían su equipo por el resto de su vida conocida como la tripulación del Fantasma a Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Zed y al astromecanico Chopper. Aunque su integración a la tripulación del Fantasma no fue la mejor, pronto un objetivo en común los uniría para las siguientes aventuras, el cruel régimen del Imperio Galáctico haría mella en su decisión de hacer cualquier cosa en contra de la injusticia del Imperio, abandonando el aburrimiento y soledad de su planeta, Bridger junto a sus nuevos amigos comienzan una serie de acciones en contra de pequeños sectores imperiales, sin darse cuenta que hacían creer la viva llama de la Rebelión y a su vez, el imperio haría todo lo posible para destruirlos.

Seré honesto, los primeros capítulos de la 1era temporada son aburridos, pero son un mal necesario, aburridos por qué? Porque porque los sucesos para introducirte en lo que será la trama de la serie ocurren muy lentos, con actividades que hacen más que perder el tiempo rozando el límite de lo que podría ser “relleno” sin embargo no es relleno porque sin eso no sabríamos como inicia y quienes son cada quien, pero hicieron los capítulos con tramas muy aburridas y con poca acción o algún elemento que a un fan o no de Star Wars llame la atención, parecía muy serie de niños y nada entretenida, sin embargo eso los primeros capítulos, en mi opinión en el capítulo 2 donde descubrimos que Kanan es un Jedi y Ezra es sensible a la fuerza y este se dispone a entrenarlo, y en el capítulo 4 dónde aparece el Gran Inquisidor es donde comienza a ponerse buena la serie, los demás capítulos son aburridos según yo, no te digo que no te los veas pero ya te advierto que de sumar suman, pero son aburridos 🤣

Perooo, ya a partir del capítulo 4 y las otras 3 temporadas son un joya! Ni hablar de la temporada 2 con el regreso de Darth Vader como el Sith y villano que es, que solo con su presencia impone terror y de como su poder en el lado oscuro de la fuerza se hace notable, sin duda el Darth Vader que todos queremos ver más allá de los cómic. También tenemos otros personajes dignos del éxito de Rebels como el gran Moff Tarkin, el regreso del Sith olvidado Darth Maul que no sabíamos nada de el desde su resucitación en The Clon Wars junto al Capitán Rex que no vemos también desde el final de las guerras Clon, el regreso de Ahsoka que justo en estos capítulos es donde es la conexión con la actual serie que lleva su nombre y al final de la última temporada con la aparición del Emperador Palpatine o Darth Sidiuos. También Rebels nos trae a un personaje nuevo para la saga como villano el Gran Almirante Thram, que sin duda desde su aparición, la ventaja de los protagonistas sobre el imperio se ve limitada y demostró la ineficacia de las fuerzas imperiales ante los rebeldes si no se es un buen estratega militar

Ahora, porque Rebels es tan importante en Star Wars ahora? Y no solo para la serie de Ahsoka sino que es una de las piezas de la columna vertebral de la Saga, pero por qué? Bueno pese a que Rebels en sus inicio fue un proyecto para sustituir a la ya serie exitosa de The Clon Wars pero fue cancelada cuando Disney compro Lucasfilm por ser “violenta” 🙄 Disney quiso darnos un nuevo producto no violento pero que continuará el legado de The Clon Wars con la misma animación y el uso de los sables de luz, sin embargo como ya mencioné esto fue un fracaso casi irreversible con los primeros capítulos que son aburridos, y la introducción de la nueva historia de estos rebeldes no es entretenida pese que era una serie que abarcaría los sucesos de la época imperial hasta la película de Rogue One y el Episodio 4 de una Nueva Esperanza. Pero milagrosamente Disney recapacito y no solo continuo con el proyecto de The Clon Wars sino que también fue mejorando los capítulos de Rebels, colocando más acción y tramas que tuviesen ligadas con historia de Star Wars que ya conocemos, como el regreso del capitán Rex y los clones, la aparición de Darth Vader o Ahsoka. También explotó temas que en otros productos no se había desarrollado como el arco de los Mandalorianos con Sabine Wren que fue la catapulta para la serie de The Mandalorian. Sin duda Rebels hace honor a su objetivo de brindarnos una historia de esperanza contra el imperio, también fue una esperanza para la franquicia de Star Wars y los futuros proyectos.
