Definitely risking my life watching movies but what is life without risk?
This is a review about the movie Monster High-the live action. I remember the first time I watched the animation of Monster High on Nickelodeon. I was so young and it was so good. I always mixed Monster High and Ever After High,calling one the other. Hehe.

Monster High is a musical based movie. The animation was out in the year 2010, then the live action followed suit 6th October, 2022. It was directed by Todd Holland. Monster High revolves around Clawdeen Wolf(played by Milia Harris), a werewolf who sought to gain the freedom to be her true monster self. By the way, Monster High is a school for monsters (strictly monsters). Clawdeen isn't a full monster, she's part human too. Irrespective of it, she somehow finds her way into and around the school.

Like every high school-ish movie with students that have the resemblance of what you'd call powers or ability, there's always a villain,the bad guy. During her stay in Monster High, Clawdeen searches for a way to get rid of the human part of her. Coincidentally or not,another monster existed that was out to get rid of its own human part also.

And now I feel I'm throwing some spoilers here, I'll pause on that.Anyways,this review was always meant to be a short one,my heart knows I'm not cut out for anything long as of this moment, sadly.

I feel the movie aims at promoting self value, confidence and love. In order to see the good you do and acknowledge it,you need to accept yourself for who you are,in and out. Change is good but only to a certain point then it becomes pointless,stupid and sad. Don't change yourself cause you feel you're not accepted in a particular place.

As most cases with live action movies are, the original animation tops! Monster High,the live action wasn't good and it wasn't bad either. My own opinion guys: it was plain. It didn't give me this spark or jiggy excitement you get when you're watching you're childhood cartoons and movies and stuff and I was utterly disappointed. The songs in the movies were cringy at one point but they all made sense. I'd give this movie 2 out of 5 stars. My heart itched a little.
