Billionaires' Bunker: The New Netflix Release with Spoiler【 🇪🇸 - 🇺🇸 】
Saludos cinéfilos de #CineTV. Hace poco estrenaron en Netflix una nueva serie que me ha encantado. Se trata de El Refugio Atómico y por lo que veo, al armar este post, creo que soy una de las pocas personas que han apreciado esta serie en sus 8 episodios. Pues a la mayoría les resultó un tema cliché, relaciones retorcidas y poca lógica.
Greetings #CineTV moviegoers. A new series recently premiered on Netflix that I absolutely loved. It's Billionaires' Bunker, and from what I can see, as I'm writing this post, I think I'm one of the few people who enjoyed this series in all eight episodes. For most people, it seemed like a clichéd theme, with twisted relationships and little logic.

Todos sabemos que Netflix suele desarrollar series bastante malas, sin sentido y dan a entender que solo les gusta gastar el dinero. Sin embargo, en esta serie, la trama me atrapó desde el primer capítulo y se la quise recomendar a mis padres. Mi mamá: @carmenluciarp2, fue la única que la vio y a ella, al igual que la mayoría, no le gustó.

We all know that Netflix tends to release pretty bad, pointless shows, implying they're just into wasting money. However, in this series, the plot captivated me from the first episode, and I wanted to recommend it to my parents. My mom, @carmenluciarp2, was the only one who watched it, and she, like most people, didn't like it.
Pero bueno, entre gustos y colores hay diferentes autores. De las críticas que leí en las páginas cinéfilas, sí estoy de acuerdo en que la serie muestra unas cuantas relaciones retorcidas y tóxicas, pero ¿a quién no le gusta un poco de drama y tocar temas estilo telenovelas donde se generan controversias familiares y se rompen vínculos consanguíneos?
But hey, tastes and colors differ. From the reviews I read on the film industry, I do agree that the series depicts a few twisted and toxic relationships, but who doesn't love a little drama and soap opera-style themes where family disputes arise and blood ties are broken?
Así que ver el desarrollo de estas relaciones retorcidas fue lo que más me gustó de la serie. También me agradó el giro que tuvo al final del primer capítulo. So watching these twisted relationships develop was my favorite part of the series. I also liked the twist at the end of the first episode. In fact, that's what made me want to watch the whole thing because I needed to know if they would pull off what they had originally planned.
Pero, ¿de qué trata la serie en sí? pues de un grupo de multimillonarios que son llamados a refugiarse a un bunquer especialmente hecho para ellos y financiado por ellos mismos. Esta parte me recordó a algo así como aquella pelicula llamada 2012 donde cierto grupo exclusivo de personas tenían derecho a refugiarse en bunquers especiales en caso de un apocalipsis mundial, ya sea ocasionado por un desastre natural o por mano propia del ser humano.
But what is the series itself about? Well, it's about a group of billionaires who are called to take refuge in a bunker specially built for them and financed by themselves. This part reminded me of something like that movie called 2012, where a certain exclusive group of people were given the right to take refuge in special bunkers in the event of a global apocalypse, whether caused by a natural disaster or by human intervention.
Hasta este punto la trama iba bien, todo iba genéricamente predecible pero justo al final del primer episodio la cosa cambia porque da un giro inesperado que te hace preguntarte ¿qué? ¿cómo va a ser? no puede ser, debo seguir viendo para saber qué pasa.
Up to this point, the plot was going well, everything was generally predictable, but right at the end of the first episode, things changed because it took an unexpected turn that makes you wonder What? How is it going to happen? It can't be, I have to keep watching to find out what happens.
Qué pasa si todo lo que te dicen que ocurre afuera, realmente no está ocurriendo y te están viendo la cara porque eres multimillonario, con ganas de aprovecharse de ti para sacarte dinero. Esto me dejó atónita, y tuve que continuarla viendo. Agrégale además el drama de las familias disfuncionales y un poco de acción y listo, tienes la serie hecha.
What if everything they tell you is happening outside isn't really happening, and they're just playing you because you're a multimillionaire, trying to take advantage of you to get money from you? This left me stunned, and I had to keep watching. Add in the drama of dysfunctional families and a little bit of action, and voila, you've got the series made.
La serie cuando la vi, más que temas clichés o que fuera predecible o entretenida, sea cual sea el caso, me hizo reflexionar en todas esas noticias que suelen transmitir en los canales informativos y por internet, donde la gente se suele creer cuanta estupidez escucha o ve.
When I watched the series, more than cliché themes or being predictable or entertaining, whatever the case may be, it made me reflect on all the news that is usually broadcast on news channels and on the internet, where people tend to believe all the stupidity they hear or see.
En parte muestra una realidad de la que todos somos víctimas. Nos mandan cadenas, nos dicen que se acabará el mundo con catástrofes naturales, o que el mundo se irá a la decadencia por el descontrol económico que hay en todos lados. Tantas cosas alarmantes que solo te llenan la cabeza de ruido y no te dejan ver lo que realmente está sucediendo, que en realidad no es más que lo que tienes frente a tu nariz.
In part, it shows a reality of which we are all victims. We are sent chains, told that the world will end with natural disasters, or that the world will decline due to the economic chaos everywhere. So many alarming things fill your head with noise and blind you to what's really happening, which is really nothing more than what's right in front of your nose.
Yo soy de las personas que prefiere vivir su día a día, asumirlo lo mejor que puede cuando se presentan algunos inconvenientes y disfrutarlos cuando sean días buenos. Sin embargo, en la serie te muestran lo que cualquier persona con exceso de dinero haría.
I'm one of those people who prefer to live day to day, take it as best I can when some setbacks arise, and enjoy the good times. However, the series shows you what anyone with too much money would do.
También te muestra la contraparte. Ese grupo de personas inconformes con su vida en la que, de manera resumida, quiere disfrutar todo lo que el millonario se da el gusto de hacerlo. Así que básicamente la serie muestra un grupo de envidiosos controlando a un grupo de personas con dinero y problemas familiares.
It also shows you the other side. That group of people dissatisfied with their lives who, in short, want to enjoy everything the millionaire indulges in. So basically, the series shows a group of jealous people controlling a group of people with money and family problems.
Cabe destacar, antes de terminar que la serie está creada por los mismos productores de la serie tan aclamada (que no he visto porque no me gustó ni me atrapó): La Casa de Papel. Y creo que es por eso que existe tanta decepción con esta serie, porque sus fans esperaban mucho más de ella. Pero por mantenerme al filo de la silla y atraparme con su primer capítulo, yo le otorgo sus bien merecidas:
It's worth noting, before closing, that the series was created by the same producers of the highly acclaimed series (which I haven't seen because I didn't like it or wasn't captivated by it): Money Heist. And I think that's why there's so much disappointment with this series, because its fans expected much more from it. But for keeping me on the edge of my seat and captivating me with its first episode, I give it its well-deserved praise:

Interesante lo que cuentas de la serie, realmente no me gusta mucho ver producciones de Netflix siento que son pocas las que valen la pena, sin embargo está parece ser una serie que puede llegar a sentirse entretenida con todos los dramas entre ricos y de clase media. What a curious series! I haven’t seen money heist either and that is because I am yet to be interested in watching. This review has however sparked my interest in this series. I’ll check it out.

Bien, es increíble cuan manipulables somos y cuan manipulados estamos. Tienes razón, es ese punto el que hace interesante el continuar viendo la serie, si al primer capítulo se dice en firma expresa o se deja entrever que los engañaron para hacerles creer algo falso.
