Untamed: Where Nature Reigns (🇪🇸 | 🇺🇸)

  Saludos cinéfilos de Hive que dan vida a #CineTV. Últimamente he visto más series que películas, dando tiempo a que se estrenara mi tan esperado film de Kimetsu No Yaiba. Como aún tengo que esperar me estoy poniendo al día con otras series de animé porque ya toca, pero me he visto unas cuantas series dramáticas y de suspenso que vale la pena compartir con ustedes. Para hoy les hablaré de este estreno calientito de Netflix llamado Indomable.

  La serie fue estrenada hace poco, si no me equivoco este mismo mes. Consta de 6 episodios de 50 minutos cada uno aproximadamente y quise verla porque su nombre me llamó la atención, además de que está protagonizada por el grande de Eric Bana.

  También la vi porque la serie me recordó a 2 films anteriores protagonizados también por Bana donde trabaja como policía investigando un asesinato. Pero tengo entendido que esas 2 películas son basadas en una novela que se convirtió en best seller. Se llama The Dry y The Dry 2: La fuerza de la naturaleza.

  Pero esta serie es totalmente diferente a las películas que acabo de nombrar. Primero por la trama y segundo por la cantidad de buenos artistas que fueron contratados para acompañar a Eric Bana en tan estupenda serie.

  En esta ocasión no sólo los actores son los protagonistas, sino que el director le da prioridad a la naturaleza en sí. A través de escenas panorámicas capturadas a todo dar donde permiten vislumbrar paisajes y riveras que pocas personas son capaces de admirar alguna vez en su vida de manera presencial.

  Y si, la trama de la serie está basado en la investigación de la muerte de una persona que no se sabe realmente si fue accidental o criminal. Desde el primer capítulo arranca con mucho drama y suspenso, lo que te atrapa de lleno y no permite que dejes de verla sino hasta que llegues a su final en el capítulo 6.

  Si hubiera tenido el chance, la podría haber visto en un solo día, pero lamentablemente tuve que dejar los 2 últimos capítulos para el día siguiente ya que el sueño me vencía. Y bueno, la serie desglosa otros aspectos importantes entre episodio y episodio. Cada protagonista tiene un pasado, una historia que contar y lo van mostrando poco a poco. Dando chance al espectador que deguste cada detalle sin prisa.

  Pienso que Eric Bana se le da muy bien interpretar el papel de policía o investigador. Y no, su papel interpretado en esta serie no se parece en nada a lo que hizo en las películas anteriores. Así de bueno es él. Sabe darle toques y aspectos diferentes a cada personaje que interpreta, así ambos papeles tengan empleos iguales.

  Este actor, también habla mucho con la mirada y son pocos los actores que he visto que hablan tanto sin decir nada, sólo con la mirada y con su expresión corporal. Esto es algo fantástico y para mí, vale mucho, por lo que aprecio el empeño que le pone cada artista a su actuación.

  Ahora, su final fue inesperado. Es probable que continúe en una segunda temporada. A mí me gustó mucho. Cada capítulo fue único y en extremo emocionante o sino emotivo, lo que te hace conectar de lleno con los personajes, el drama y la historia.

  Para mí el director supo dar ese toque al espectador de que entre el cielo y la tierra no hay nada oculto y que por más que se quieran ocultar las cosas "malas", al final todo se descubre si sabes cómo y dónde buscar. Así que, si buscas una serie corta y muy buena de suspenso/drama, te la recomiendo. De mi parte le doy sus bien merecidas:

Greetings, cinephiles of Hive, who bring #CineTV to life. Lately, I've been watching more series than movies, waiting for the release of my long-awaited Demon Slayer film. Since I still have to wait, I'm catching up on other anime series, as it's time. However, I've also watched a few dramas and thrillers that are worth sharing with you. Today, I'll be talking about this hot Netflix release called Untamed.

The series premiered recently, if I'm not mistaken, this month. It consists of six episodes, each approximately 50 minutes long, and I wanted to watch it because its name caught my attention, plus it stars the great Eric Bana.

I also watched it because the series reminded me of two previous films also starring Bana, where he works as a police officer investigating a murder. But I understand those two films are based on a novel that became a best-selling novel. It's called The Dry and The Dry 2: Force of Nature.

But this series is completely different from the films I just mentioned. First, because of the plot, and second, because of the number of talented artists hired to accompany Eric Bana in such a wonderful series.

This time, not only are the actors the protagonists, but the director prioritizes nature itself. Through panoramic scenes captured in stunning detail, they offer a glimpse of landscapes and riverbanks that few people can admire in person at least once in their lives.

And yes, the series' plot is based on the investigation into the death of a person whose death is unknown, whether accidental or criminal. From the first episode, it kicks off with a wealth of drama and suspense, gripping you completely and keeping you engaged until you reach the end of episode 6.

If I'd had the chance, I could have watched it in one day, but unfortunately, I had to leave the last two episodes for the next day because I was getting sleepy. And well, the series unpacks other important aspects between episodes. Each protagonist has a past, a story to tell, and they reveal it little by little, giving the viewer a chance to savor every detail without rushing.

I think Eric Bana is very good at playing the role of a police officer or investigator. And no, his role in this series is nothing like what he did in the previous films. He's that good. He knows how to add different touches and aspects to each character he plays, even though both roles have the same functions.

This actor also speaks a lot with his eyes, and there are few actors I've seen who speak so much without saying anything, just with their eyes and body language. This is fantastic, and for me, it means a lot, so I appreciate the effort each actor puts into their performance.

Now, its ending was unexpected. It's likely to continue for a second season. I liked it a lot. Each episode was unique and extremely exciting, if not emotional, which makes you connect fully with the characters, the drama, and the story.

For me, the director knew how to give the viewer that feeling that, between heaven and earth, nothing is hidden, and that no matter how much you try to hide the "bad" things, in the end, everything is revealed if you know how and where to look. So, if you're looking for a short and very good suspense/drama series, I recommend it. For my part, I give it its well-deserved praise:
