Akame ga Kill Anime Review– A Brutal Masterpiece Worth Watching

Story Overview

If i talk about the basic story of that anime, then I will explain its episode one, which will give you an idea of which direction the story of this anime is going to go.

So is it worth it to watch this anime or not - we will explain episode one of this anime. The main character of this anime is going to be Tatsumi, who is a young swordsman, who belonged to a very poor place. Tatsumi had only one dream in life - that he wanted to go to the capital and join the military, so that he could earn a lot of money by working there and help his poor villagers.

So with this purpose, the main character of our army travels from his village to the capital, along with his two friends. But due to certain conditions, the main character of our anime has to separate from them. Then they decide that they will go to the capital and meet again.

Tatsumi finally reaches the capital. But as soon as he reaches there, someone scams him. A girl fools him, takes advantage of his innocence and takes away all his money. After this, Tatsumi becomes completely broke, and he is forced to spend his night on the street.

Just then a girl from a noble family passes by, who tries to help our main character. She takes him to her house, where her family helps him a lot - gives him food to eat and a place to stay, like a guest.

Along with this, they also promise to get him a good job in the military. Hearing all this, Tatsumi is very happy that such kind people exist in this world, who take so much care of others and understand their difficulties.

Plot Twist

Then comes a big twist in the story.

An assassin group attacks this noble family. This assassin group is the most wanted group of the capital, which is called Night Raiders. As soon as they arrive, they kill the parents of the noble family in a very brutal way and finally start chasing their daughter who is left.

Tatsumi seeing this tries to help her. He fights against the Night Raiders and asks them how can they kill such good people, who only try to do good for others.

Then a girl from that assassin group comes forward. This is the same girl who had scammed Tatsumi in the morning. She tells Tatsumi that the reality of this family is very different from what they show to the world.

He is taken to a nearby warehouse. There are more than 100 bodies of people hanging in this warehouse, who have been killed in a very bad and brutal way.

There Tatsumi gets to see his two friends, whom he was waiting for in the Capitol. Both of those friends were also kidnapped by this family in the name of helping them, and they were tortured a lot - they were killed in a brutal way.

Tatsumi is completely shocked to see this and cuts the girl into two pieces in a single slash. After this Tatsumi decides that he will join the Night Raiders. These Night Raiders fight against the government of the Capitol - against their injustice and cruelty.

After this, in this anime, one gets to see more dangerous villains than the other, who are very brutal. You get to see such atrocities from them, which will shock you completely. This is going to be a very violence-filled anime, where any character can have an unexpected death — which is going to be very painful to watch.

If we talk about its first season, its name was Akame ga Kill, which was released on 7 July 2014. There are a total of 24 episodes in its first season. The length of each episode is about 23 minutes. This season has got a rating of 7.58.

Unfortunetly, even after so many years, the second season of this anime has not been released yet and now there is no possibility that its second season will come. Because the ending of its season one was such that season two seems quite difficult.
