Kalidhar Lapata: A Feel-Good Film That Touches the Heart

We all know how talented Abhishek Bachchan is. We've spoken about it many times. Whenever we have seen any of his films or series coming out, we have said one thing - Bollywood has not been able to use him properly yet. And no one knows when that will be.

On JioCinema, he has a new film Kaalidhar Laapata, which has Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role, along with Nimrat Kaur and many others. Now if I review this film in one word - the film is telling us the same story, which we have seen many times before. But still this film can connect you because there are many positive aspects in the film. There's a downside - I'll talk about that later. Before I begin, let me tell you a little story.

The look and feel here is very rooted and goes with the subject. BGM is also very good. The color tone is also very good. The emotion is good here as well.

Negative Aspects

There is only one negative aspect - some characters have come here, but they are not being faded out. For example, Zeeshan Ayyub, Nimrat Kaur - their importance, their bonding - that bonding is not felt. Because the movie is too short. It's not a fast-paced movie. But in some places you can understand the lag of that time.

Some characters are not being given that time. They could have done better with time. If the film could have been extended by another 10-15 minutes, I don't think it would have been much of a problem.

I think it would have been better if the rest of the characters - Zeeshan Ayyub, Nimrat Kaur - could have been established better in those 10-15 minutes. Then the thing would have come out more, the emotion would have come out more, the bonding would have been better understood by the audience.

But I will say - everyone can see the film at least once. It's a very simple movie that everyone can watch. The whole family can sit together. There's no problem.
