Look Back (2024) Review - A Masterpiece You Shouldn’t Miss

Look Back - You guys must have heard about this movie because it has become very popular. And if you guys haven't seen this movie yet, then trust me, you are missing out a lot.

I know I am very late because it released in 2024, but please read this review completely. Because I am going to share with you guys how this movie changed my whole thinking.

Story Overview

If I talk about the story of the movie, then our main character is a manga artist. She publishes her art in her school newspaper. And one day, another girl from her school, from her class, published her art in that newspaper.

At one point of time, our main character thought that she was the best, there was no one better than her. Her art is amazing and she is going to be very successful.

But when she sees her rival's art, then she is totally shocked. Because he is much better than her art. And she decided that she is going to beat her rival.

She continuously works hard, improves her art. But at the end, her rival's art is better than hers. After seeing all this, she gives up on her art.

But fate is a very mean thing, isn't it? You always get what is written in your fate. One day she goes to meet her rival and there she finds out that her rival was her biggest fan.

She decides that she will pursue her art again and improve her art. And this is how we are shown the journey of these two characters.

The journey of these two is amazing. And after watching the animation you will say that yes, I will get life lessons from this. But this anime changed my entire thinking.

I have learnt a very beautiful lesson from this anime. And it is in this way that create your own identity. If you compare yourself with someone else and say that "I am the next him," then you will just remain a shadow of him.

Make yourself famous by your own name. Here it is the same thing that Mike Tyson was a fan of Muhammad Ali, but he is still Mike Tyson, not a shadow of Muhammad Ali.

Moreover, this movie deals with regrets. Regret is such a human emotion that every person has - I wish I had done this, I wish I had done that, I wish I had not met him, if I had met him then I wish I would have done this.

Is all this my fault? Was this because of my mistake?

All this must have crossed your mind. This is what we call regrets. And the way this movie deals with it, it is just beautiful. Because it doesn't matter what you wish for - I wish this had happened, I wish that had happened - you have to live with what has happened.

After all, this is what we call life - living with your regrets and leaving your regrets behind and making your future life better. After all, this is life.

This movie has changed my thinking a lot. When I die, I will have regrets, but at least I will not say that I wish I had spent time with her. I have reduced one or two regrets, right?

Technical Aspects

One more thing about this movie which I liked very, very much, which no one is talking about—I don't know why—is its animation and BGM.

Its animation is very cute and no one is talking about it. Moreover, if I talk about its BGM, then that too is very cute. Its BGM adds such spice to its animation, due to which it becomes a masterpiece. I can say, this movie is my personal favorite.

There is a scene in this movie where even the BGM is not playing in the background, but that silence speaks too loud. Silence will break your heart into pieces and you will not even know. So credit goes to animators also, who put their soul into it.

I highly recommend you all guys to please watch this movie. Because you won't understand what I am saying, but when you watch this movie, you will know.
