Burnout for movies

I remember that during my teenage years, entertainment was more limited than it is now. If we were lucky or had the budget, we could go to the movies once a month. We'd talk about the movies over and over again; they were the main topics of conversation for many weekends with friends. Life was much calmer, and personally, time felt slower. I remember watching the same movies countless times. The shelves next to the bookcase shared space with DVDs that sooner or later ended up scratched from extensive use. Ah, those were the days!

Nowadays, in my own way of thinking, we've reached excess. Just yesterday, I spent about an hour scrolling through the movies and series on a streaming platform only to realize that I've already seen the vast majority, either at my mother's house, with friends, or at home. I feel like this excessive gratification is leading to burnout. This weekend I decided to do something different for a change, I put on some sandals and went for a walk alone to realize that I'm missing something, maybe just a movie on the weekends.
