RE: I know What You did Last Summer --- Mystery 😱 | A Must Watch || My Honest Review

I remember reading reviews of the film a while back. In part, it seems like it was perceived as a revival of a type of horror film that was called “Teen Horror” in the 1980s, or Teenager Horror Movie.

I didn't get around to seeing this #movie, but I found the idea that shared secrets aren't really secrets anymore. And dark secrets can rise from the grave to settle scores when you least expect it.

I think the handling of #horror in these films always requires that element of absurdity, of doing something really silly, which triggers a series of situations that pushes the protagonists down a path they never wanted to take.

Seeing the characters plunge into danger, being chased, suffering from paranoia, and (in several cases) being attacked or killed—all of these are classic ingredients of this genre of #film.
