By the way, government intelligence agencies play the role of “villains” or “morally gray agents” quite well in movies and TV shows, because in reality, their reputation isn't very clean or very good. It's as if we all expect that if a spy and intelligence agency is involved, then everything will be rife with intrigue, betrayal, disloyalty, and all the evil done will always be justified with the idea that it's being done “for the Greater Good”.
