This is a film that has merit in tackling issues such as sexuality and gender oppression...

Juliette Binoche's performance is decent, as always, and the film offers a raw insight into the lives of college prostitutes...

As Anne delves deeper into the lives of these women, she faces her own internal conflicts and questions her own sexuality and gender roles....

However, in my opinion, the film feels a little pretentious and predictable, at times, it feels like it is trying to be deeper than it really is....

Also, the plot can be a little slow and tedious at certain points....
