I'm also a big fan of the original franchise and usually, I'm afraid of new movies based on good-old-franchise... But, from your review, it looks like they managed to do a good movie, continuing the legacy of Leslie Nielsen!

On the other hand, I would never say that Liam Neeson will be the best pick for acting in the parody movie!! I watched the trailer, and his seriousness gave an additional level of comedy to it... Sounds weird, but it looks like it worked well! 😃

I have this same concern, and I wasn't thrilled with the news when the movie was officially announced by the studio. Liam Neeson didn't seem like a good choice, but the film is actually very good (as is his performance).
