The film is about a nurse who comes from a troubled childhood, being sexually abused and also an orphan, she had a lot to repair internally. The young woman, after her long stay in the orphanage, she studies nursing at the university and obtains her first internship in a hospital. The film is set in London, at the time when electricity blackouts were common and established, the completely dark hospital was not a good place for anyone. This hospital was being evicted, the patients were being moved to a different health center, one that was not so affected by the country's energy conditions.

Because she is new, our nurse and one of the main characters named Val has been assigned to work day and night. Really for Val the problem was not work, but rather the darkness that sheltered the darkest events. In addition to Val, three more nurses and a maintenance man had been assigned to the night shift. Just as night falls, the staff lights the hospital rooms and corridors with oil lanterns. Mere moments after the darkness gives way, Val ends up being possessed and turned into an avenger of unspoken facts.

The spirit that possessed Val, was that of a girl who had been a patient in the hospital. One day, without more or less, the girl simply disappeared. It happens that the system had chosen to ignore the existence of a girl, they gave her up for never having had her as a patient. But the truth is that the girl, in addition to being raped, had been murdered and burned. By possessing Val, she avenged what had happened to her, murdering everyone she made to look aside whenever she was abused. The girl, at the same time, shows him that she has chosen Val for being a girl just like her, abused in the past and forced to remain silent in the face of the injustice of the breaking of innocence.

Val, while in the hospital, meets another girl who lived escaping from the hospital, medical treatment and others, but the reality is that she was escaping from the abuser. This becomes a link between the girl, the entity from another world and Val. When the young nurse was possessed, she did not harm her little friend, since when the girl or Gail, who was currently a ghost, had been friends with her.

After a night of killing, Val is tied to a bed and given soothing medical treatment. She then ends up unraveling that the abuser of the little patients is Dr. Franklyn, a young and apparently correct man. Val discovers him and kills him in aid of the entity (Gail). At the end of the film, they run away from the hospital holding hands with Val, the girl and the entity that had already revealed itself as a sweet girl. She rested in peace.

The setting and engraving frames are submerged in darkness. On the other hand, that it is already filmed almost entirely in the hospital, where in normal conditions it is already a place that we have always associated with the dark, due to the large number of people who have died there: they manage to consolidate this gloomy air . It happens as an ideal fit between fear and suspense, the prank on the viewer is full and with jumps of nerves that keep breaths contained and pupils dilated.

On the other hand, from the point of view of the cast, we can add that they denote professionalism and a good development of emotions based on the narrative of the film. However, this last one (narrative) is the star of everything; the solid way in which the facts are related and contrast with the framed London of 1974 mired in the absence of justice.

Pocos momentos después de que la oscuridad se diera paso, Val termina siendo poseída y convertida en una vengadora de hechos silenciados.

El espíritu que poseía a Val, era de una niña que había sido paciente en el hospital. Un día, sin más ni menos, la niña simplemente desapareció. Sucede que el sistema había optado por obviar la existencia de una niña, la dieron por nunca haberla tenido como paciente. Pero, la verdad es que la niña además de haber sido violada, había sido asesinada y quemada. Mediante la posesión de Val, vengó lo que le había sucedido, asesinando a todo aquel que hizo mirada a un lado cada vez que era abusada. La niña, a la vez le muestra que ha elegido a Val por ser una niña igual a ella, abusada en un pasado y obligada a silenciarse ante la injusticia de la rotura de la inocencia.

Val, estando en el hospital conoce a otra niña que vivía escapando del hospital, del tratamiento médico y demás, pero la realidad es que se escapaba del abusador. Esto, convierte un lazo de unión entre la niña, el ente de otro mundo y Val. Cuando la joven enfermera se encontraba poseída, no hacía daño a su pequeña amiga y es que, cuando la niña o Gail, que en el presente era un fantasma, habían sido amigas.

Luego de una noche de muertes, Val es atada a una cama y sometida a tratamiento médico relajante. Termina entonces de desentrañar que el abusador de las pequeñas pacientes es el doctor Franklyn, un hombre joven y aparentemente correcto. Val lo descubre y le asesina en ayuda del ente (Gail). Finalizando la película, salen huyendo del hospital tomadas de la mano de Val, la niña y el ente que ya se había revelado como una dulce niña. Descansó en paz.

La ambientación y cuadros de grabado se sumergen en la oscuridad. Por otro lado, que ya se encuentre filmada casi en la totalidad en el hospital, donde en condiciones de normalidad ya es un sitio que siempre hemos asociado a lo tenebroso, por la gran cantidad de personas que han muerto allí: logran consolidar este aire lóbrego. Sucede como un encaje idóneo entre miedo y suspenso, la jugarreta al espectador es plena y con saltos de nervios que mantienen respiraciones contenidas y púpilas dilatadas.

Por otro lado, desde el punto de vista del elenco, podemos agregar que denotan profesionalismo y un buen desarrollo de emociones en base a la narrativa del film. Sin embargo, es ésta última (narrativa) la estrella de todo; la manera sólida en que se relacionan los hechos y hacen contraste con la enmarcada Londrés de 1974 sumida en la ausencia de justicia.
