ESPAÑOL: Los chasquis fueron mensajeros especiales en el Imperio Incaico, que se destacaron por su habilidad para transmitir mensajes a través de largas distancias utilizando un sistema de relevos. Los chasquis eran seleccionados por sus habilidades físicas y resistencia, ya que debían ser capaces de cubrir grandes distancias corriendo a través de los caminos del imperio, que estaban bien organizados y mantenidos.

El sistema de mensajería de los chasquis implicaba la existencia de estaciones a lo largo de los caminos, donde los mensajeros podían pasar el mensaje al siguiente chasqui en la cadena. De esta manera, la información podía ser transmitida rápidamente de un extremo del imperio al otro. Este sistema eficiente permitía a los incas comunicarse de manera efectiva y rápida a pesar de la vasta extensión de su imperio, que se extendía desde el sur de Colombia hasta el norte de Chile y Argentina.

The chasquis were selected for their physical abilities and endurance, as they had to be able to cover great distances by running through the empire's roads, which were well organized and maintained.

The Chasqui messaging system involved the existence of stations along the roads, where messengers could pass the message to the next Chasqui in the chain. In this way, information could be transmitted quickly from one end of the empire to the other. This efficient system allowed the Incas to communicate effectively and quickly despite the vast expanse of their empire, which stretched from southern Colombia to northern Chile and Argentina.
