Hola Hivers, amigos de este maravilloso rincón virtual. Me presento, mi nombre es Frank Rodriguez, user: @PoetaFranko.

Deseo compartir en Movies & TV Shows una reseña sobre la película “Detrás de la pizarra”, la cual me cautivó y me permitió conocer el quehacer de una maestra que quiso cambiar la escuela lúgubre donde debió trabajar y hacerla un mejor lugar, sitio donde sus estudiantes transformaran sus vidas para siempre.

Para mi, ingeniero devenido en docente de secundaria y pre-universitario fue muy motivador.

Les invito a la lectura y espero que al final quieran verse la película, que está dentro de mis preferidas.

RESEÑA DE LA PELÍCULA “DETRÁS DE LA PIZARRA”

Detrás de la pizarra es una película que se adentra en el salón de clases de una escuela de niños de familias pobres. La escuela donde han asignado a la maestra se ubica en un refugio para familias sin hogar, allí es capaz de cambiar la adversidad por el trabajo arduo y el comprometido.

En el papel de la maestra se provee el liderazgo del docente que siente y padece su profesión. Cuando hablamos de padecer, nos referimos a todas estas condiciones adversas en que se encuentran inmersas las vidas de los estudiantes y las condiciones desfavorables que tienen que enfrentar. Un ambiente hostil y complejo, con relaciones disfuncionales, padres sin trabajo, en algunos casos adictos a las drogas, emotivamente desequilibrados, enajenados por el sistema como se muestra en el film.

La maestra se va adentrando en su salón de clases, comienza a conocer a los estudiantes, los diagnostica, trabaja intensamente, no sólo desde el punto de vista académico donde promueve una estrategia de enseñanza personalizada para cada alumno, sino que además los aprende a conocer emocionalmente y a partir de allí y de su entorno familiar, establece roles, asigna responsabilidades, persuade, conversa, une, aporta con su ejemplo.

La maestra, con ciertas estrategias sencillas e ingeniosas, transforma el salón de clases, de un lugar miserable a el mejor de los sitios. Allí los estudiantes encuentran el candor y la esperanza que los hace transformar y los motiva a lograr alcanzar los aprendizajes propuestos.

Además de conseguirlo en el salón, ella trabaja y se gana el respeto de los padres, que al principio están reacios a aceptarla y no le dan credibilidad, pensando quizás que ella haría como otros maestros que pasaron la escuela y no consiguieron llevar adelante su misión. La maestra compra de sus propios recursos, transforma y embellece el aula, lleva refrigerios, los escucha, se involucra. Además, procura la colaboración de sus superiores, los convence y consigue el apoyo necesario para que le asignen libros, pupitres, útiles de aula y enseres para su clase. Esto la ubica como una maestra proactiva, capaz de convencer y de proyectar nuevas expectativas y cambios profundos, no sólo en los estudiantes sino en los miembros de la comunidad.

A través de su carisma y su accionar consigue realizar el acercamiento de los padres de familia al proceso educativo de sus hijos.

Considero que la película ubica al maestro en su papel primero, un actor imprescindible y determinante en el proceso educativo. La maestra nos demuestra con su actuación como podemos, si nos empoderamos de nuestro trabajo y funciones, transformar la realidad de los estudiantes, cambiar las percepciones de los padres, aunar esfuerzos para trabajar por el bien de la escuela y la comunidad.

No hay profesión auténtica si no la sentimos, por ello para que el docente consiga realizar cambios significativos en la comunidad y la transformación de sus estudiantes precisa de entrega, valentía, pasión por lo que hace. Por otra parte, el conocimiento de nuestros estudiantes, el saber de donde vienen, con quien y cómo viven, que sentimientos tienen, sus expectativas, nos permitirá establecer relaciones correctas, estrategias apropiadas para estimularlos, para enseñarlos y finalmente para hacerlos mejores seres humanos.

No debemos olvidar, y queda claro en la película, que el trabajo del docente debe apoyarse en la acción comunitaria, en la intervención de los padres, en procurar involucrar a los miembros de la comunidad por el bien de la enseñanza de las y los estudiantes, en medio de todos está el maestro con su liderazgo.

REVIEW OF THE FILM "BEHIND THE BLACKBOARD"

Behind the Blackboard is a film that delves into the classroom of a school for children from poor families. The school where the teacher has been assigned is located in a shelter for homeless families, where she is able to overcome adversity through hard work and commitment.

The role of the teacher provides the leadership of an educator who feels and suffers in her profession. When we talk about suffering, we refer to all the adverse conditions in which the students' lives are immersed and the unfavorable conditions they have to face. A hostile and complex environment, with dysfunctional relationships, unemployed parents, in some cases drug addicts, emotionally unbalanced, alienated by the system, as shown in the film.

The teacher enters her classroom, gets to know the students, assesses them, and works intensely, not only from an academic point of view, where she promotes a personalized teaching strategy for each student, but also by getting to know them emotionally and, based on that and their family environment, establishing roles, assigning responsibilities, persuading, conversing, uniting, and contributing with her example.

The teacher, with certain simple and ingenious strategies, transforms the classroom from a miserable place to the best of places. There, the students find the candor and hope that transforms them and motivates them to achieve the proposed learning goals.

In addition to achieving this in the classroom, she works hard and earns the respect of parents, who are initially reluctant to accept her and do not give her credibility, perhaps thinking that she would be like other teachers who passed through the school and failed to carry out their mission. The teacher buys supplies with her own money, transforms and beautifies the classroom, brings snacks, listens to them, and gets involved. In addition, she seeks the collaboration of her superiors, convinces them, and obtains the necessary support to be assigned books, desks, classroom supplies, and equipment for her class. This positions her as a proactive teacher, capable of convincing and projecting new expectations and profound changes, not only in the students but also in the members of the community.

Through her charisma and actions, she manages to bring parents closer to their children's educational process.

I believe that the film places the teacher in their primary role, as an essential and decisive actor in the educational process. The teacher shows us through her actions how, if we empower ourselves in our work and roles, we can transform the reality of students, change the perceptions of parents, and join forces to work for the good of the school and the community.

There is no authentic profession if we do not feel it, so for teachers to achieve significant changes in the community and the transformation of their students, they need dedication, courage, and passion for what they do. On the other hand, knowing our students, knowing where they come from, who they live with and how, what feelings they have, and what their expectations are, will allow us to establish the right relationships and appropriate strategies to stimulate them, teach them, and ultimately make them better human beings.

We must not forget, and this is clear in the film, that the work of teachers must be supported by community action, by the involvement of parents, by seeking to involve community members for the sake of teaching students, and in the midst of all this is the teacher with their leadership.
