El furor de las películas de Marvel y DC pusieron de moda a los superhéroes, esto se refleja en diversas producciones alrededor del mundo, incluido el manga, en donde un título alcanzó bastante popularidad, My Hero Academia. Hace unos años se publicó un spin off, el título que reseño hoy. Creado por Kohei Hirikoshi, el director es Ken’ichi Suzuki. Se estrenó hace poco.

The craze for Marvel and DC movies has made superheroes fashionable, and this is reflected in various productions around the world, including manga, where one title has achieved considerable popularity: My Hero Academia. A few years ago, a spin-off was published, which is the title I am reviewing today. Created by Kohei Hirikoshi, the director is Kenichi Suzuki. It was released recently.

Sinopsis: Koichi Haimawari es un estudiante universitario que compagina sus clases con apoyar con sus poderes, un desplazamiento rápido, a la comunidad local. Un día le toca enfrentarse a unos villanos, esto le hará generar una alianza con unos vigilantes locales, aumentando su capacidad de hacer el bien, pero también el enfrentar mayores amenazas.

Synopsis: Koichi Haimawari is a college student who balances his classes with using his powers, rapid movement, to support the local community. One day, he has to face some villains, which leads him to form an alliance with some local vigilantes, increasing his ability to do good, but also to face greater threats.

El mundo de My Hero Academia, para el que no sepa, es el de un mundo con mucha gente con poderes especiales, de diversa magnitud y habilidad. En este caso, a diferencia de la serie principal, no veremos a superhéroes registrados, sino a unos que les toca enfrentar el mal, al margen de la ley.

The world of My Hero Academia, for those who don't know, is one with many people with special powers of varying magnitudes and abilities. In this case, unlike the main series, we don't see registered superheroes, but rather those who have to face evil outside the law.

La mezcla de comedia y acción es de lo mejor. Los capítulos pasan volando viendo las diversas dinámicas entre los personajes. Por otro lado, veremos personajes de la serie principal participando en ciertos eventos.

The mix of comedy and action is top-notch. The episodes fly by as we watch the various dynamics between the characters. On the other hand, we will see characters from the main series participating in certain events.

Los personajes principales y algunos secundarios están bien desarrollados, te interesa ver lo que pasará con ellos. A la vez, hay ciertos misterios que se irán revelando de a poco. Tal vez lo que no funciona tanto es la villana principal, pues toma tiempo saber sus motivos, generando desinterés.

The main characters and some of the secondary ones are well developed, and you're interested in seeing what will happen to them. At the same time, there are certain mysteries that will be revealed little by little. Perhaps what doesn't work so well is the main villain, as it takes time to understand her motives, which makes her uninteresting.

La animación es excelente, dinámica y con una buena mezcla de colores. Otro punto resaltante es la música, en especial ese grandioso opening, te invita a escuchar y verlo varias veces. Como siempre, el autor destaca con sus diseños, que se reflejan bien en la animación.

The animation is excellent, dynamic, and with a good mix of colors. Another highlight is the music, especially the great opening theme, which invites you to listen to it and watch it several times. As always, the author stands out with his designs, which are well reflected in the animation.

En general, este anime me ha atrapado bastante, y es el que más seguí de cerca en su temporada. Recomendable, en especial si te gusta la serie principal.

Overall, this anime has really hooked me, and it's the one I followed most closely this season. Recommended, especially if you like the main series.
