El juego del calamar debe ser una de las series más populares de los últimos años, luego de ser lanzado en Netflix es difícil de notar su impacto en la cultura popular e incluso en varios tipos de producciones posteriores. Este título adapta la serie para crear un reality competitivo con un gran premio final. Estrenada el año pasado, con solo 10 capítulos, fue desarrollada en Reino Unido.
The Squid Game must be one of the most popular series of recent years, after being released on Netflix it is hard to notice its impact on popular culture and even on various types of subsequent productions. This title adapts the series to create a competitive reality series with a grand final prize. Released last year, with only 10 episodes, it was developed in the UK.
Sinopsis: Es un reality que recrea con 456 jugadores lo visto en la serie del mismo nombre. El premio para un solo ganador será de aprox. 4 millones de dólares. Para ello, como en la serie, los jugadores pasarán por diversas pruebas, algunas parecidas a las vistas en la serie y otras nuevas para el reality. Mientras se da ello, veremos el carácter, personalidad y otros aspectos de los jugadores, mientras pasan los retos.
Synopsis: It is a reality game that recreates with 456 players what was seen in the series of the same name. The prize for a single winner will be approx. 4 million dollars. To do this, as in the series, players will go through various tests, some similar to those seen in the series and others new to the reality. While doing so, we will see the character, personality and other aspects of the players as they go through the challenges.
Los 456 jugadores que vendrán de varias partes del mundo, tienen la misma motivación, conseguir el premio mayor, si para ello tienen que mentir, engañar, hacer alianzas u otros; lo harán por el máximo objetivo. Hay algunos extrovertidos, otros que serán líderes, otros con mejor capacidad de análisis, etc.
The 456 players who will come from various parts of the world, have the same motivation, to get the biggest prize, if they have to lie, cheat, make alliances or others; they will do it for the ultimate goal. There are some extroverts, others who will be leaders, others with better analytical skills, etc.
Es interesante ver la cantidad de historias que hay, según avance el reality. Sobre las pruebas, muchas repiten las vistas en la serie, como el puente de vidrio o las galletas con formas(Dalgonas), pero también hay varias nuevas. El tramo final con las 3 pruebas finales es bueno. No me gustó que quitaran la prueba de fuerza, por temas de igualdad al parecer. A su vez, no todas las pruebas son divertidas, una de tirar dados es aburrida por decir lo mínimo.
It is interesting to see how many stories there are, as the reality show progresses. About the tests, many of them repeat the ones seen in the series, like the glass bridge or the shaped cookies (Dalgonas), but there are also several new ones. The final section with the 3 final tests is good. I didn't like that they removed the test of strength, because of equality issues apparently. At the same time, not all the tests are fun, a dice rolling one is boring to say the least.
Si bien en el juego hay que tener determinación y ciertas habilidades, la realidad es que el azar está muy presente. La producción es buena, recreando varios escenarios de la serie, al igual que la música. La edición es excelente, sabiendo mostrar los mejores ángulos en cada momento, y enfocando bien a los jugadores que nos interesa ver, cuando están tramando algo.
While the game requires determination and certain skills, the reality is that chance is very present. The production is good, recreating several scenarios of the series, as well as the music. The editing is excellent, knowing how to show the best angles at every moment, and focusing well on the players we are interested in seeing, when they are up to something.
Me parece un buen reality, y si eres fanatico de la serie, debes darle una oportunidad.
