Como mencioné en una anterior reseña, Harley Quinn como personaje ha obtenido una mayor relevancia debido a las películas de DC. Es en ello que en el 2019 salió una serie animada. Está escrita y producida por Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker y Dean Lorey. Lo he visto en HBO+. Tiene 3 temporadas, he visto la primera.

As I mentioned in a previous review, Harley Quinn as a character has gained more relevance due to the DC movies. It is in this that an animated series came out in 2019. It is written and produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey. I've seen it on HBO+. It has 3 seasons, I've seen the first one.

Sinopsis: Harley Quinn acaba de romper relaciones con el Joker. En su búsqueda de pertenecer a la Legión del Mal, decide formar un grupo que le ayude a realizar los más maléficos planes.

Synopsis: Harley Quinn has just broken off relations with the Joker. In her quest to belong to the Legion of Evil, she decides to form a group to help her carry out the most evil plans.

En sí la historia se enfoca en mostrar la dinámica del grupo que se forma; a su vez, en ver como Harley Quinn trata de superar al Joker. También tratará de mejorar su relación con Poison Ivy. Hay mucha comedia, violencia, un toque de sangre y humor negro.

In itself, the story focuses on showing the dynamics of the group that is formed; in turn, to see how Harley Quinn tries to overcome the Joker. She will also try to improve her relationship with Poison Ivy. There is a lot of comedy, violence, a touch of blood and black humor.

La trama avanza de manera bastante dinámica con distintos problemas, e incluso con un poco de profundidad en los temas que toca. Incluso veremos a los clásicos superhéroes de DC, como Batman o Wonder Woman.

La animación si bien no es nada antes visto, es fluida. Los demás aspectos técnicos como los sonidos, las voces, etc; tiene un papel aceptable.

En general es una serie animada para adultos que entretiene, si lo que buscas es humor negro, violencia y personajes conocidos de DC. Mi objetivo es ver el resto de temporadas.

Overall it's an animated series for adults that entertains, if you're looking for black humor, violence and known DC characters. My goal is to watch the rest of the seasons.
