La saga de Knives Out ya ha lanzado su tercera parte en Netflix, se ha vuelto una entrega esperada cada cierto tiempo, como anteriores ocasiones ha servido para juntar actores reconocidos bajo un caso de asesinatos. Fue estrenada hace poco.
The Knives Out saga has already released its third installment on Netflix, becoming a highly anticipated release every so often. As on previous occasions, it has served to bring together renowned actors in a murder mystery. It was released recently.
Sinopsis: En un pequeño pueblo en USA, el sacerdote Jud ingresa como nuevo integrante a la congregación de Monseñor Wicks; sin embargo, se nota que hay ciertas diferencias en cómo llevar los mensajes de la iglesia. Ello se ve agravado, cuando en una misa, ocurre un asesinato que parece imposible, para resolverla habra dar uso del detective Benoit Blanc y su conocido ingenio.
Synopsis: In a small town in the US, Father Jud joins Monsignor Wicks' congregation as a new member; however, there are noticeable differences in how they convey the church's messages. This is exacerbated when, during a mass, a seemingly impossible murder occurs. To solve it, Detective Benoit Blanc and his well-known ingenuity will be called upon.
La trama como en las otras películas previas de Knives Out, parte con una presentación de personajes y contexto, luego ocurre el asesinato y llega el detective Blanc, que en esta ocasión se apoyara del sacerdote Jud, para resolver el caso. Lo interesante, como siempre, es lo intrincado e imaginativo que puede ser el caso, sumado a los personajes y antecedentes del mismo.
As in the previous Knives Out films, the plot begins with an introduction to the characters and context, then the murder occurs and Detective Blanc arrives, who on this occasion will rely on Father Jud to solve the case. The interesting thing, as always, is how intricate and imaginative the case can be, added to the characters and their backgrounds.
Si bien hay partes dramáticas, lo que sobresale es el tono cómico en muchas de las situaciones, desde frases ocurrentes hasta personajes ególatras.
Although there are dramatic parts, what stands out is the comical tone in many of the situations, from witty phrases to egotistical characters.
El caso hará hincapié, en los pecados y redenciones, pues veremos como una situación antigua sigue trayendo consecuencias hasta el presente. Hay mucho juego con los temas religiosos, desde una congregación muy fiel al Monseñor Wicks, hasta los “milagros” que ocurrirán en medio del caso.
The case will emphasize sins and redemption, as we will see how an old situation continues to have consequences in the present. There is a lot of play with religious themes, from a congregation very loyal to Monsignor Wicks to the “miracles” that will occur in the midst of the case.
Por otro lado, este tipo de películas busca que el propio espectador, calcule quien es el asesino, con la variedad de pistas que se muestran. Es un reto al que puede siempre participar.
On the other hand, this type of film encourages viewers to figure out who the killer is, based on the variety of clues that are presented. It's a challenge that you can always participate in.
En los aspectos técnicos, el trabajo es más que correcto, pero al ser pocos escenarios, no hay algo en que destaque particularmente, quizás la edición. Hay una variedad de actores conocidos como Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis o Jeremy Renner, dando su aporte a esta saga. Destacó a Josh O’Connor como Jud.
Technically speaking, the work is more than adequate, but with so few settings, there isn't anything that particularly stands out, except perhaps the editing. There is a variety of well-known actors such as Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, and Jeremy Renner contributing to this saga. Josh O'Connor stood out as Jud.
