(EN/SP) Ninakami: Peru and Anime Merge Together in APUKUNAPA KUTIMUYNIN, Studio Review

It is wonderful to see how everyone is becoming more and more connected every day, with anime being a powerful tool that allows us to learn about and connect all our cultures.
Ninakami is a Peruvian anime studio where the project called Apukunapa Kutimuynin is an anime whose story is inspired by and set in the Andean regions. It's surprising because it's incredibly common for an anime studio to be associated with Japan or Asia, but in this case, the production is Peruvian, at least from what I can tell from the content on their YouTube channel, a platform that is serving as a bridge to get as much attention as possible and fully execute the anime. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it in its entirety 😃😃
I think Apukunapa Kutimuynin will make a big impact in South America because its story revolves around the gods of our Andean region, which is steeped in Inca mythology, among others. Look at how Evangelion caught the attention of Asia decades ago by adding Christian elements, That's why I think Apukunapa Kutimuynin has the potential, with its gods from ancient South American ethnic groups, to capture the attention of Asian anime fans while also introducing them to ancestral elements of our culture, those gods that South America believed in. I will be proud to see this done with Peruvian talent 🤩🤩

Omar Vallejos is the director and writer of this story, which I hope will premiere in the coming months with well-defined episodes beyond the promotional videos that I have loved. At the time of publishing this post, there are two promotional videos posted on his YouTube channel. I am sharing one of them so that you can see for yourselves the ancestral appeal of this anime, which has the added bonus of a Peruvian soul thanks to the hand, mind, and academic work of Vallejos.
I perceive that the number of views achieved, more than 400,000, indicates that it is attracting attention, and how could it not, when I like what I see in the character design with a modern essence in the anime style.
On a personal note, because you may not see it that way, I find this anime very similar to Avatar: The Last Airbender, which I see as a positive thing because the story maintains a serious tone while adding humor. In fact, when watching the promotional videos, the comical influence of the Asian anime style on this product is noticeable.
I encourage you to keep an eye on this project on Ninakami's YouTube channel and its director, Vallejos, because I see a lot of talent in combining Peruvian mythology with the world of Asian anime.
I dedicate each and every one of my posts and videos to my little dog named princess, we called her chiquito, she is no longer with us but from heaven she will see that her existence was valuable and the most beautiful thing that will exist in my heart and soul.
