BloodSport es una película que me traslada totalmente a mi niñez con la emoción de ver estas batallas y a esos momentos en que pensaba de adulto tener y mover los Pectorales como Bolo Yeung, logré hacerlo ya en mis tiempos de universidad y recordé totalmente este film que es músculos y mas músculos pero bien hecho, traspasa la pantalla, llega al espectador esa energía de batalla, ese impulso del todo por el todo bajo un contacto sangriento.
El film maneja como tópico las artes marciales pero le da un plus que pocas a mi consideración tienen porque he visto varias y pocas recuerdo como esta, cada personaje peleador tiene su encanto, claro esta unos mas que otros pero se logra transmitir a través de su arte marcial en una competencia que puede ser mortal.
Es la energía del público cuando gritan PEGALE PEGALEEE!! todos en coro, película de los 80 que considero tesoro porque no tiene efectos especiales ni dobles, todo es dos peleadores bien entrenados tanto en su arte como físicamente.
BloodSport is a film that takes me back to my childhood with the excitement of watching these battles and those moments when I thought as an adult to have and move my pecs like Bolo Yeung, I managed to do it in my college days and I totally remembered this film that is muscles and more muscles but well done, it goes beyond the screen, it reaches the viewer that energy of battle, that momentum of all for all under a bloody contact.

It is the energy of the public when they shout HIT HIM HIT HIM!!! all in chorus, 80's movie that I consider a treasure because it has no special effects or doubles, everything is two well trained fighters both in their art and physically.
Eso que menciones al inicio de esta reseña sobre tener el físico de uno de los personajes no fui solo yo, muchos también porque las escenas están bien preparadas, bien presentadas y con exaltación, la euforia del momento clímax el cual también esta muy bien dirigido en trama porque nada mas motivante que una pequeña venganza.
Hay un momento místico durante ese clímax que se va cocinando durante todo el film y aunque esa preparación no es lo que mas me llega, ese momento batalla final sí y es infinito, aún hoy veo esa escena y me da energías, me revitaliza, me dan hasta ganas de hacer ejercicio para tener los músculos de Van Damme, es inspiración.
Tiene sus puntos como alivio cómico que considero son los policías, están por estar y tiene su relevancia en la trama pero es para poder rellenar el film de lo que verdaderamente quiere transmitir y son las batallas, esta muy bien porque si hacen reír y consciente al espectador para lo que se viene en las batallas.

No son solo Van Damme y Bolo Yeung quienes se llevan el show, si que pesan en el film, eso es indudable pero quienes van entreteniendo y cumplen totalmente en su emoción son el resto de peleadores como el Americano con sus cervezas jaja que cuando recuerdo me hace reír y el artista marcial del estilo mono.
Estos personajes específicamente los recuerdo muy bien, uno por lo gracioso porque al principio es como chocante pero tiene su toque, su carisma y se va ganando el cariño de quien ve el film y uno que no conocemos que es el mono, me da mucha tristeza su final pero es que su oponente es El Muro y el hecho de que me haga sentir esa emoción es por que visualmente ese peleador del mono me maravillo, no conozco nada de el pero aun hoy me preocupo enormemente su final.
Los SoundTracks en este film son motivadores, uno llamado Fight to Survive y otro que es al momento final de batalla, son capaces de llevar a una persona en un estado mínimo a un estado máximo, te vuelve fuerte, por eso la pelea final tiene todos los elementos para explotar y me hacen darle a este film 8 chiquitos de 10, artistas marciales, buena trama para batalla así como también una banda sonora que amplifica en los sentidos del espectador la emoción, esa adrenalina por lo que ve y ser alguien del público como si estuviera en el set de la batalla mortal.

Lo mejor del film es evidentemente esa batalla final, todo esta cocinado para ese momento en el que Bolo Yeung tiene en su pierna la banda del amigo de Van Damme, esto se ha vuelto personal y es un despliegue de músculos con rivalidad por todos lados, esta el respeto por ese arte marcial de lado con Van Damme y esta la conducta antideportiva del lado de Bolo Yeung.
Ambos son grandes peleadores pero Van Damme domina en todo aspecto, le da una paliza a su rival, todo esto sucede bajo una de las bandas sonoras mas motivantes que he escuchado, una de esas que te lleva de menos a mas pero no es solo ritmo, es autoestima, te sientes capaz de llegar hasta la cima de una montaña al escucharla, es un plus para este conflicto que lo lleva al siguiente nivel.
Siempre va a haber lo exagerado pero en este caso bien hecho, esos momentos Van Damme cuando le ciegan y empieza a recordar y reflexionar todo ese entrenamiento que le dio su maestro y claro todo esto sucede y Bolo Yeung no le masacra, me hace reír pero esta bien hecho porque es un film y la idea es exaltar la escena con cada momento, llevarlo a otra emoción, esos rostros de Van Damme que a pesar de no poder ver, cuando empieza a gritar para poder encontrar su alma, la paz, la enseñanza y la victoria es lo mejor del film.

Recuerdo que tuve que esperar para poder ver esa película y cuando por fin mi padre la pudo alquilar no dejaba de verla.
En ese tiempo muchos se referían a Van Damme como el nuevo Bruce Lee (gente exagerada) y eso era porque peleó contra nada más y nada menos que Bolo Yeung, como si peleará de verdad 😂, pero sin desmerecer a lo que representó ese film y al mismo Van Damme como actor y nuevo héroe de acción, fue épico; justamente de ese ese film pude ver muchas de sus películas y Contacto Sangriento sigue siendo una de mis preferidas.

ajajja no me jodas es en serio, yo la vi por rctv porque claro yo no sabía del film y mi papa tampoco, aun no íbamos al blockbuster, WAO entonces el film en tu localidad para aquella época era muy codiciado y tu papa sabía que ese film era buenísimo que LocuraX y claro como le costo el conseguirla porque se le hizo difícil, cuando al fin la tuvo la vio muchas veces para aun mas placer 🤣
Este es un film que puedes ver varias veces y es como la primera, vi la batalla final recientemente y es como haberla visto en aquella época... una genialidad 😃
Mi padre alquilaba las películas en VHS en un local muy cerca de mi casa; mi enfermedad por ver películas es culpa de mis padres, desde muy niño estoy en esa.
Ayer justamente ví la mitad del film en un tiempo libre que tuve, ya que está en Amazon Prime Video.

Hace mucho tiempo, pero mucho que vi esta película, como me gustaba este actor, me veía todas, iba a alquilarla... recuerdo esa época, que maravilla. Una de las mejores películas que ha hecho, pese a que no es luchador sino bailarín jajaja, pero bueno hay que darle mérito.

Woow yo recuerdo a mi padre ver este filme, claro yo nací en los 90´s pero pero es un filme famoso, tengo imágenes algo confusas de esta película, buenas batallas, banda sonora, la gente gritando "pégale" sin dudas una muy buena experiencia, a mi me agradan este tipo de filmes, bueno.. a quien no? jejeje.

thats our times brother THAT OUR BEST TIMES 😃, yes there is a lot of movies with karate and this one in specific i remebered so clearly, there is a generation that grow up with this movie because tv buy the film and put it over and over again jaja and is a great movie, if you could hear the soundtrack, it have two songs that are very powerful, FIGH TO SURVIVE and the other song is with the great fight vs Bolo Yeung that character is amazing how he move his chest 🤣
