Masked Rider: The Insect HERO of the '90s 🪲🪲, Nostalgic Review

That’s the positive side of the series, but the negative aspect—and what I believe led to its failure—is the typical, ever-present “dumb” character meant to make people laugh. In this series, he’s called Ferbus, but you might associate him with Ja Jar Bings from Star Wars and Snarf from ThunderCats. These are Teletubby-esque characters, and they’re a very delicate balance—if they don’t appeal to viewers, they can drag the show into the abyss of childishness, family-friendliness, and ridiculousness that dulls so many series, movies, and animated shows.

If done well, it turns out like The Mandalorian; if done poorly, the adult audience is the one that will punish it. In my case, Ferbus—the mascot of Masked Rider, who, by the way, isn’t even an insect but some super-weird thing—was what really threw me off.

The fight scenes are great, and so are the transformations. I recommend it because if you end up liking it, you’ll be blown away by Kamen Rider, the original series. Let’s remember that when it comes to these type of Heroes, it was America that copied Japan—and if there’s one thing Japan has, it’s much more adult storylines.

Lo anterior es lo positivo de la serie pero lo negativo y que considero es lo que la llevo al fracaso es el tipico y constante personaje Bobo destinado para hacer reir, en esta serie se llama Ferbus pero lo pueden asociar con Ja Jar Bings de Star Wars y Snarf de los ThunderCats. Son personajes Teletubbietescos y muy delicados ya que si no agradan pues pueden llevar la obra a los abismos del elemento infantil, familiar y ridiculo que atonta muchas series, peliculas y animaciones.

Si se hace bien pues sucede como en Mandalorian, si se hace mal pues la audiencia adulta es la que castigara. En mi caso, Ferbus la mascota de Masked Rider que de paso ni es insecto, es una cosa super extraña, fue lo que me sacaba de serie.

Las peleas estan muy bien, las transformaciones tambien, la recomiendo porque si te llega a agradar, vas a alucinar con Kamen Rider el producto original, recordemos que en terminos de estos Heroes es America quien se copio de Japon y si algo toene Japon es tramas mucho mas Adultas.
