The Terminator franchise has the luxury, at least in its first two films, of giving us a female character who is completely linked to the naturalness and essence of the story. I mean that she is a woman who does not need politically correct or forced elements to stand out.
In my case, in stark contrast to what many might think, my favorite Sarah Connor is the one from the first film because of how sweet and loving she is. She conveys an idea in which her fragility connects with that of anyone in the audience, since we live happily until an event comes into our lives and changes everything... In our case, it could be an illness, a divorce, the death of a loved one, etc.
In Sarah's case, it is science fiction that shapes her destiny and her evolution, and we can also connect with this because when we suffer an event such as the loss of a close family member, etc., we also have to evolve and develop a strong will to survive in order to overcome our sadness, learn from the experience, and continue living.

La franquicia de Terminator tiene el lujo, al menos en sus dos primeras películas, de habernos dado un personaje femenino en su totalidad enlazada con la naturalidad y esencia de la historia. Me refiero a que es una mujer que no necesito elementos políticamente correctos o incluidos forzadamente para resaltar.
En mi caso, muy en contraste con lo que pudieran pensar muchos, mi Sarah Connor favorita es la del primer film por lo dulce y amorosa que es, transmite toda una idea en la que su fragilidad conecta con la de cualquiera en la audiencia ya que vivimos felices hasta que llega un evento a nuestras vidas a cambiarlo si o si todo.... en nuestro caso puede ser una enfermedad, un divorcio, la muerte de un ser que amas, etc.
En el caso de Sarah es la ciencia ficción la que se encarga de marcar su destino y su evolución donde con esto ultimo nosotros también podemos conectar porque cuando sufrimos algún evento como perdida de algún familiar muy cercano etc, nosotros también tenemos que evolucionar y desarrollar una gran convicción de supervivencia para sobreponernos a la tristeza, adquirir aprendizajes y seguir viviendo.

Something I've always loved about Sarah Connor at the end of the first film is her sad face in the photograph you can see in the image. She knows she will have her baby, and although we know she gives her all for her son in the second film, Sarah Connor's soul dies with Kyle Reese... everything else she does is solely to fulfill her promise to him, the one who saved her and loved her.
She lived in a single day with him what many have not lived in a lifetime, and I am referring to love... not time travel, haha 😂😂
The film is overwhelmed by action, making it difficult to appreciate Sarah's romantic side, which is well-developed and defines the character's feelings as she forges her own destiny.
La evolución y convicción de Sarah en mi caso pienso que no esta marcada por su hijo, opino que quien termina de definir su futuro y lucha es Kyle Reese. Por eso aprecio tanto el primer film porque Sarah plantea el conflicto Destino en sus dos variantes, la destructiva que vendría a ser el enfoque apocalíptico de la historia, pero también plantea el amor como fuente de fortaleza infinita para seguir luchando.
El Terminator le da el espectáculo a la saga pero Sarah es el pilar, un núcleo de poder para darle coherencia y mensaje a la historia con el fin de conectar mas con la audiencia, permite que nosotros como espectadores quedemos reflexionando, pensando y enamorados de lo que plantea la historia mas allá de los efectos especiales.
Algo que siempre me ha encantado de Sarah Connor al final del primer film es su rostro de tristeza en la fotografía que pueden observar en la imagen, ella allí sabe que tendrá su bebe y aunque nosotros sabemos que ella da el todo por el todo por su hijo en la segunda película, Sarah Connor en alma muere con Kyle Reese.... todo lo demás que ella hace es unicamente para cumplir con el, aquel que la salvo y la amo.
Ella vivió en un solo día con el lo que muchos no han vivido en toda una vida, y me refiero al amor.... no al viaje en el tiempo jaja 😂😂
Sucede que el film se ahoga en mucha acción y cuesta apreciar ese aspecto romántico que transmite Sarah que esta muy bien fundamentado y define los sentimientos del personaje para poder forjar su propio destino.

No hay destino, sólo lo que nosotros hacemos.... es la frase que me quedó grabada siempre hasta que aprendí con el paso del tiempo que es así, no es sólo una frase de esa película es un mensaje. Me fascina la película es una de mis favoritas, los mensajes importantes están en la primera y algo en la segunda, sobre todo como decís cuando se quita lo que no es mensaje. Esa película no es ciencia ficción es mensaje puro. Me encanta!!!!

Sobre la historia lo que noto es que Sarah lucha por forjar su camino pero eso no quiere decir que logre cambiar el desenlace, de hecho no lo logra, lo que si logra es reflexionar mucho con cada aprendizaje e intento por cambiar lo inevitable
