The Blue Lagoon is a very delicate film that strives to soften and show how nature, through instinct, forces us to move through the different stages of life, in a process where we ask ourselves a number of questions about why we experience new sensations that we didn't even know existed before, such as romantic love or the beautiful feeling of being a mother.
I recently watched this film on Netflix, and I am so glad I did, because it is a beautiful film that raises various issues that expand the ideological ocean of what it wants to convey in the minds of its main characters, who notice changes not only in their thinking, but also in their bodies. The most compelling aspect is that they themselves have no idea what is happening, but their instincts do.
There are things that only humans do, only we pray, why do we do it... haven't you ever wondered why, because we believe in something beyond ourselves. The idea I most want you to take away is that this film is not only about exploring love, it is also about exploring death and with it the birth of spirituality thanks to despair.

La Laguna Azul es un film muy delicado que se esfuerza por suavizar y mostrar el como la naturaleza a través del instinto nos obliga a avanzar por las diferentes etapas de la vida, en un proceso donde nos hacemos una cantidad de preguntas sobre porque experimentamos nuevas sensaciones que antes ni siquiera sabíamos que existían como por ejemplo el amor de pareja o el bonito sentimiento de ser madre.
Es una película que vi recientemente en Netflix y como me alegro de haberla visto para admirar sus detalles porque es un film precioso al plantear variados aspectos que van expandiendo el océano ideológico de lo que se quiere plantear en la mente de sus personajes protagonistas que notaran los cambios no solo en su pensar, también lo verán en sus cuerpos siendo lo mas atractivo de ver el hecho de que ellos en si no tienen la noción de lo que esta sucediendo pero sus instintos si.
Hay cosas que solo hacemos los humanos, solo nosotros rezamos, por que lo hacemos.... no te lo haz preguntado nunca, por que creemos en algo mas allá de nosotros. La idea que mas quiero te lleves en mente es que esta película no solo es sobre explorar el amor, también es explorar la muerte y con esto el nacimiento de la espiritualidad gracias a la desesperación.

As an audience member, you just have to disconnect from the current social structures of the story you will see in this film. I disconnected from all those superficial things, and in the end, I was left with a film that is now one of my favorites because of how well it addresses religious beliefs and death. The film has love to spare, and that's why you have to look beyond that to fully, objectively, and completely appreciate all the majesty of The Blue Lagoon.
Les comparto el Trailer donde podrán ver a los protagonistas Richard interpretado por Christopher Atkins y Emmeline interpretada por la preciosa y llena de inocencia Brooke Shields perdidos en una isla con los conocimientos que un niño de 4 años tiene de la vida y sin mas guía que la experiencia de la naturaleza para poder comprender todo lo que luego pasara en sus vidas.
Es una historia planteada con los ojos de una Eva que nació en el génesis de la vida metafóricamente hablando, cuando vi la película fue como si viera a Adan y Eva aprender a vivir de verdad, cada día con situaciones diferentes como la menstruación en Emmeline sin ella saber que es eso que sucede en ella, es el terror de la naturaleza obligando a los personajes a caminar por el sendero oscuro del desarrollo donde conscientemente no saben lo que sucede pero sus cuerpos si.
Como audiencia solo tienes que desconectar las estructuras sociales actuales de la historia que veras en esta película, yo desconecte todas esas cosas superficiales y al finalizar me quede con un film que ahora es de mis favoritos por lo bien que aborda las creencias religiosas y la muerte. El film tiene amor de sobra y por eso tienes que ver mas allá de eso para apreciar de manera plena, objetiva e íntegramente toda la majestuosidad de La Laguna Azul.

Hace años vi esa película y a mi me pareció una experiencia tan aterradora como a los personajes cuando se quedaron en esa isla y tener que descubrir todo por cuenta propia. Y aun así se las arreglaron para poder ir atravesando los días y el tiempo mismo

Está película la ví casi que de chamo y eso, súper superficial.. un náufrago familiar jajaj pero visto como lo explicas capaz hay que verla con otros ojos para entenderla mejor. Si me pareció rara pero Xs, supervivencia pura. Increíble pero la tenía borrada de mi mente 😂
