The story begins with Alice, a nine-year-old girl who lives in a family environment marked by silence, fear, and violence. What moved me most about this series was its symbolic language. Each episode is linked to a flower, and each flower represents an emotion, a stage, a revelation. It's as if nature were complicit in the narrative, as if the flowers spoke for the characters. I found that connection between the emotional and the visual to be beautiful. It made me think about how often what we feel cannot be explained, but it can be shown, and this series does so with a unique sensitivity.
