Hello, welcome to my another review post. Today's anime movie is Howl's Moving Castle. It was highly recommended by my niece; she said I must try this anime and that I would like it for sure. However, I didn't know much about this anime, so I was confused about it. Then I searched it up on Google, and the results were pretty good. I saw many good reviews, which motivated me to watch this anime movie. As it's a movie, I have enough time to finish it because finishing a season takes me forever.

As you can see, the trailer is 10 years old, yet the graphics are still better. I am liking the animation and the looks of the characters. I saw a moving castle, which shocked me, and it also matches the name of the movie. The master filmmaker made this anime movie, so it must be interesting; I can already tell by the way they elaborate on the tale of a young woman who is transformed by some curse. There must be some sort of magic in the movie too; that's all I could guess from watching the trailer. I kind of felt relaxed while watching it.

Plot

The story begins with an 18-year-old girl named Sophie who works at a hat shop. One day, she was visiting her sister, and on the way, two soldiers stopped her and made her uncomfortable. At that moment, a mysterious handsome guy with blond hair came to save Sophie. She was mesmerized at that moment. After that, Sophie met her sister, and they had a good time together. Everything was going well for Sophie until one day a witch came to her store and cursed her to look old. Whenever someone looked at Sophie, she would appear old.

To find a solution to this problem, she started her journey to make the curse go away. Later on, she found a moving castle and entered it, but actually, no one can get inside of it; luckily, Sophie could. After a while, she discovered that the owner of the place is the same guy who had saved her from the soldiers. She realizes that he is Howl, who is the talk of the town. She was so upset that she could not tell him about her reality. Even though Howl knew nothing about her, he still let her stay at his place; in exchange, she had to take care of the house, and Sophie agreed to it. Later on, we get to enjoy the adventurous journey of Sophie.

The story is very simple yet beautiful; the visuals are stunning, and the theme is very soothing to the eyes. The most beautiful part is the message the movie is trying to convey to us. It's nothing like the usual anime movies we watch; it gives off a different vibe. Only those who have watched this anime can agree with me. To be honest, there's nothing to dislike about this anime; each and every minute was worth it. The genre is a mixture of romance, drama, comedy, and action. How can one miss this type of movie? I am so glad that I have watched this anime movie. I would recommend everyone to get a taste of it.
