I chanced upon this contest while playing @risingstargame , and this immediately caught my attention. This is definitely a "Must Join" contest! Why so? Now if you have been following my post, you would have known that I really appreciate the killer art of the NFTs, be in Splinterlands and/or Rising Star. Now what really caught my attention was this beautiful NFT

This is seriously one of the nicest looking NFT in the entire Rising Star game thus far. Not only is the main picture interesting, what really caught my attention was the killer background of this NFT. It really embodied the very essence of @cinetv . I am going all out in this contest, hope to win some Cine and Starbits in order to afford this lovely NFT!

Now for the best use of a song, it would hands down definitely be "The Phantom of The Opera" from the movie/play, "The Phantom of The Opera". Now being a huge fan of plays, I am so glad that this play has a movie version so that I can include this into the contest.

Best Use Of A Song In A Movie

Now, why I would say this song has the best use.

  1. Normally, a song would be a great background to complement the actions that are happening in the movie. However, this song is an essential part of the movie. There are tons of fantastic songs in this movie, but none beats this. The lyrics of the songs while it is fine to listen and enjoy, but stringed up within the movie and it constitutes as an essential part of the movie. Unlike any other movies, this movie without this song will make the movie incomplete!

  2. The tunes, totally sick. Just the melody and tune of the music and you will know, things are getting serious. The composer spared no mercy in making this an intense piece. With an entire symphony there just to bring out the best, the melody and tune is enough to raise some intense sentiments even before the lead opens his/her mouth

  3. Now talk about marketing and branding. You literally have the name of the song sharing the same name as the globally renowned movie/play. If this does not do marketing/branding, I really don't know what does. Also, the moment the starting tune is heard, one can easily identify the song to be from The Phantom of The Opera. It is that distinctive, simply wonderful.

Background of the Song

Now the composer is the renowned Andrew Lloyd Webber. This legend is so legendary, he literally received knighthood in 1992, and tons of awards such as Tonys, Grammys, Golden Globe, Emmy... The list goes on. The play started in 1986, but the movie version is out in 2004. Being the spine of the Movie, I guess it is only fair that we credit a portion of these accolades to the song itself!

Why I Think It Is Great The Best

I am taking hours to type this post as I am so captivated each time I listen to the song. Not only that, this is actually the first play that I have watched in my life, so it is especially meaningful to me.

Now this piece is too good not to be shared. Here is the youtube link. Do yourself and your soul a favour, pop a good earpiece, find a nice couch, and close your eyes. I assure you your time will be well spent!

Alright here you go @thecuriousfool ! This is the original soundtrack, the playlist is good. Sometimes the songs will have slightly weird commentary and dialogues because this is the actual soundtrack, as per what the actors and actresses are talking during actual play. So this is as original as it can get! Do enjoy my friend!
