"Nowhere" is a mind-bending thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The film explores the concept of survival, creating a captivating and complex narrative. The performance by Anna Castillo (Mia), is top-notch, bringing depth and emotion to her character.
Although it's completely fictional, the build-up of suspense almost causes it to seem like its based on a true life story.

Despite having paid cash and even given both her's and Nico's (Tamar Novas) wedding rings up just to escape from a totalitarian regime in Spain she finds herself lost at sea in a confined cargo, separated from her husband with no cell reception and no knowledge of knowing if anyone might save her, she finds a way to keep herself and her newly born child (Noa) alive.
Due to the fact that she ran out of food and water, she was subjected to surviving on the rain for drinking water and eating her placenta for food. She moved on to catching and eating fishes later on, after managing to cut open a hole at the top of the enclosed container.

The Placenta Scene

We were shown that she was in this cargo for 26days before it was filled with water but its likely she spent close to/more than 2months at sea. Herself and Noa were rescued by a fisherman and his wife after the cargo was completely submerged.
Although, Nico's fate is quite unclear, it's best to imagine he's still alive somewhere.
Overall, "Nowhere" is a must-watch for anyone who loves a thrilling and thought-provoking cinematic experience.
