RE: "Star Wars Day", and the disrespect towards one of the most classic adventure sagas in the history of cinema.

It's hard to disagree. I miss the days when Star Wars genuinely represented something wonderful (at least for me). I greatly appreciated the original trilogy, and while I feel the prequels were full of flaws, they also won my heart. Modern Star Wars has produced a couple of half-decent pieces (the first seasons of The Mandalorian, Andor, and Clone Wars are solid examples), but overall it's nothing more than a vacuous content machine living off the nostalgia of its most passionate fans.
