Troll 2 (2025) Movie Review

A few years ago, the Troll movie that came out, you all must have seen it. Now its second part has been released. So, do you need to watch that movie to watch this one? If you want, you can watch it. If you haven’t seen it, go ahead and watch it, that one is also a very good movie. But you can directly watch this movie as well. Even if you haven’t seen the previous one, because the story here feels completely different. It is connected to what happened after the first one, but here we get to see a completely different story altogether. This time the story starts right after the first movie. But the difference here is that I thought the story had ended. But no, the story hasn’t ended.

This time we get to see more than one troll in it. The basic story is that there is a troll that these people had captured a long time ago. They had locked it underground inside a building or somewhere in a mountain cave. But one day it comes back to life. And now it wants revenge. Why does it want revenge? Because hundreds of years ago, when Christians were spreading a lot and Christianity was spreading rapidly across Europe, the Christians and their king, Count Dolap, killed all the trolls that existed. And that’s why this troll that has come back to life wants its revenge. So how will they stop it? What will happen? You’ll have to watch all those things in the movie itself.

There are many other things in the movie that I haven’t fully revealed because they would become spoilers, so you should watch them in the movie itself. But first, let’s talk about how I found the story. I really liked the movie’s story. It is full of twists and turns. That’s why I would say the story is better than the first movie. The first movie’s story was good too, but this movie’s story felt a little better to me.

Now let’s talk about some positives and negatives. The first positive is its action. All the action scenes look really amazing, and along with the action, the visuals are also excellent, I would say. The visuals in the first movie were quite good too, and the visuals in this movie are even better. After the success of the first movie, the stakes have been raised here. All the helicopter scenes we get, the troll fight scenes, or any kind of action scenes and visuals, everything looks really great.

The movie feels very realistic. At the same time, funny scenes have also been added. One scene from the first movie will appear again, the house one. You’ll know which one I’m talking about when you see it. That house scene is common in both movies. Along with that, this movie is quite thrilling. You will feel a lot of thrill at many places, and the place where the thrill spiked the most was the helicopter scene. You’ll understand when you watch it in the movie.

The movie also becomes a bit emotional. Especially when the helicopter scene comes, and the acting by everyone felt really good to me. When these people meet the troll and touch it, watch those scenes. The acting there looks really good too.

Overall, there aren’t too many shortcomings in the movie. The movie is quite good. The only drawback in the movie is that the story becomes predictable at times. The movie is good, but some small things in it become predictable. Right from the beginning, you can tell who is going to die. Literally, you’ll figure out who is going to die, and that person does die. So that’s why the movie felt a little predictable to me.

Otherwise, overall, I would say this is a really good movie. Definitely watch this movie, and you can watch it with the whole family too. I think there are just one or two kissing scenes, nothing more than that in the movie. And its third part will also come. When the movie ends, wait a little after that, you’ll find out there.
