Ilusiones mortales (netflix movie review)

Saludos Hivers, bonito martes para todos. Aprovechando el reposo ayer me ha dado para mirar no solo la bella animación de Sing 2 también en la noche pude degustar un poco sobre el suspenso y los juegos mentales en una nueva trama.

Greetings Hivers, nice Tuesday to all. Taking advantage of the rest yesterday has given me to watch not only the beautiful animation of Sing 2 also in the evening I could taste a little about suspense and mind games in a new plot.

Esta película en particular la he escogido porque una de las protagonista resulta ser Kristin Davis una de las favoritas en la trama de Sex and the City por su personalidad dulce convertida en una mujer aguerrida capaz de cumplir sus objetivos como madre primeriza.

I chose this particular movie because one of the main characters happens to be Kristin Davis, one of the favorites in the Sex and the City storyline for her sweet personality turned into a feisty woman capable of fulfilling her goals as a new mother.

Aquí es distinto porque ya tiene dos hijos pero su personalidad en sí me hace recordar mucho a esa divertida mujer conquistando en la ciudad.

It's different here because she already has two kids but her personality itself reminds me a lot of that fun woman conquering in the city.

En ilusiones mortales es también una conquistadora pero de corazones y lectores, ya que es una escritora famosa que tiene una de las sagas más vendidas en el mundo. Su estilo es un poco atrevido con una mezcla de suspenso y mucha ficción.

In Mortal Illusions she is also a conqueror but of hearts and readers, since she is a famous writer who has one of the best-selling sagas in the world. Her style is a bit daring with a mix of suspense and a lot of fiction.

Sin embargo, se ha rehusado a seguir escribiendo dado que se encuentra en una situación donde no ve conveniente hacerlo ya que dicho por ella misma su vida cambia por completo durante ese proceso y se convierte en alguien que no es.

Esto por supuesto que me dio bastante intriga, por lo que me gustó mucho esa primera bocanada de suspenso en la trama. Para nuestra suerte, se ve obligada a redactar dicho libro cuando se entera que su marido hizo un gasto a pérdida de la mitad de sus ahorros, algo que no solo la hizo enojar, también sentirse contra la pared dado que ella quiere darle a toda su familia lo mejor y por ello ha luchado mucho.

This of course gave me quite a bit of intrigue, so I really liked that first whiff of suspense in the plot. As luck would have it, she is forced to write the book when she learns that her husband has spent half of her savings, something that not only made her angry, but also makes her feel up against the wall since she wants to give her whole family the best and has fought so hard for it.

Si bien estaba en una etapa donde quería ser simplemente ama de casa y una buena madre, pienso que no debe ser tan dificil poder escribir un libro y hacer el resto de las cosas, sobre todo cuando no tiene una fecha de entrega ni nadie que la está acorralando a terminar rápido.

While she was at a stage where she wanted to just be a housewife and a good mother, I think it shouldn't be that hard to be able to write a book and do the rest of the things, especially when she doesn't have a deadline and no one is cornering her to finish it fast.

Pero parte de la trama es también esta en escudriñar la personalidad de esta mujer, que a mi parecer es un poco detallista, controladora con ciertas cosas pero también tiene algunos defectos o más bien inseguridades.

But part of the plot is also to scrutinize the personality of this woman, who in my opinion is a bit detail oriented, controlling with certain things but also has some flaws or rather insecurities.

Como punto principal está el bloqueo, simplemente la razón por la cual dejó de escribir realmente fue por un bloqueo de escritor, algo que es muy común en dicha rama y que posiblemente tenga una solución, pero claro siendo esposa y madre de dos hijos ¿como tener el tiempo para encontrar esa musa?

As a main point is the block, simply the reason why she stopped writing really was because of a writer's block, something that is very common in that branch and possibly has a solution, but of course being a wife and mother of two children, how to have the time to find that muse?

Aquí es donde aparece la solución a todos sus problemas, desde conseguir el tiempo para redactar un nuevo libro hasta conseguir ese objetivo que sirviera de inspiración para ella.

This is where the solution to all her problems appears, from finding the time to write a new book to achieving that goal that would serve as inspiration for her.

Cabe destacar que esta cuidadora es muy joven, a primera vista se ve alguien muy temerosa pero luego demuestra que se adapta muy bien a las circunstancias algo que llama la atención de la escritora y razón por la cual le contrató por un tiempo determinado hasta finiquitar su libro.

Yo pensé que en algún momento el hecho de que fuera una chica joven, hermosa e inteligente iba a traer problemas de celos en la relación marital, sin embargo a esta parte de la trama le dieron un enfoque que a mi parecer es un poco turbio.

I thought that at some point the fact that she was a young, beautiful and intelligent girl was going to bring jealousy problems in the marital relationship, however this part of the plot was given an approach that in my opinion is a bit murky.

Parece que con esta nueva cuidadora dentro de esta casa, hay ciertos deseos por la escritora hacia ella que tienden a confundir, e incluso hay escenas en las que el espectador no sabe si es una ilusión o realmente sucedieron tal cual.

It seems that with this new caretaker inside this house, there are certain desires by the writer towards her that tend to confuse, and there are even scenes in which the viewer does not know if it is an illusion or really happened as it is.

Lo que si es que la presencia de esta joven cambió por completo y en un principio para bien, la relación de esta familia y el equilibrio entre el trabajo y bienestar, algo que la convierte en parte de la familia en su momento.

What is certain is that the presence of this young woman changed completely and at first for the better, the relationship of this family and the balance between work and welfare, something that makes her part of the family at the time.

Por una parte esta joven se convierte no solo en la musa de la escritora, también en ese deseo y anhelo de la juventud. Por otra parte hay cosas que no cuadran y se empiezan a desvelar ciertas mentiras, que con ello también ocurre un primer homicidio cuya escena es un deja vu para quienes han tenido el borrado en mano de su nuevo libro.

On the one hand, this young woman becomes not only the muse of the writer, but also the desire and longing of youth. On the other hand, there are things that do not add up and certain lies begin to be revealed, which also leads to a first murder whose scene is a deja vu for those who have had the erasure in hand of her new book.

Ambas muestran un comportamiento disociativo de sus personalidades al final, algo que por supuesto le da un toque exquisito al suspenso de esta trama donde no se sabe quién es la culpable.

Ahora bien, debo acotar que hay escenas sexuales no explícitas pero si candentes, cosa que me gusto de cierto modo, pero debo decir que el final como tal me sentí decepcionado, creo que tenían que explotarlo aún más y no ir por lo que se supone sería obvio y sobreactuado.

Now, I must point out that there are sexual scenes, not explicit but hot, which I liked in a way, but I must say that the ending as such I was disappointed, I think they had to exploit it even more and not go for what was supposed to be obvious and overacted.
