La casa del dragón (HBO series review)

Saludos Hivers, espero hoy tengan un estupendo día, tomando en consideración que es el viernes negro. Yo lastimosamente he empezado el día mal, y entiendo que la vida todo debe tener un equilibrio, lo digo porque a mi novio le ha ido muy bien estas semanas y por el contrario a mí me ha ido bastante mal, pero bueno, no es la primera y última vez que pasa esto, lo que hay que hacer es seguir luchando.

Hoy regreso a escribir desde mi celular porque no he podido arreglar mi el teclado de mi laptop y ahora me he quedado sin mouse, aparte que casi quedó accidentado en la calle pues se me ha ido el croche, menudo viernes negro bizarro que me ha tocado.

En fin, en el post pasado les había comentado sobre mi perspectiva con respecto a la serie de Game of Thrones. Para mí era importante empezar por esa reseña porque ya luego de terminar GOT me puse a ver la precuela que lleva por título "La casa de dragones".

Está sería hace énfasis que se basa en la historia de los targaryen muchos años atrás antes de la existencia de Daenarys la madre de Dragones en GOT. Incluso fue importante que reseñaran esto de inicio porque seguramente otros al igual que yo se esperaban un poco más sobre lo que fue la vida de ella antes de básicamente ser la esclava de su hermano.

Unfortunately I have started the day badly, and I understand that everything in life must have a balance, I say this because my boyfriend has been doing very well these weeks and on the contrary I have been doing very badly, but well, it is not the first and last time this happens, what you have to do is to keep fighting.


Today I'm back to writing from my cell phone because I have not been able to fix my laptop keyboard and now I have no mouse, besides it almost crashed in the street because my crochet has gone, what a bizarre black Friday I've had.


Anyway, in the last post I had told you about my perspective regarding the Game of Thrones series. For me it was important to start with that review because after finishing GOT I started watching the prequel titled "The House of Dragons".


This would be emphasizes that it is based on the history of the Targaryens many years before the existence of Daenarys the Mother of Dragons in GOT. It was even important that they reviewed this at the beginning because surely others like me were expecting a little more about what her life was like before she was basically her brother's slave.

Como primera plana muestran al rey de los siete reinos dando su veredicto de quien debe ser su sucesor, la cuestión es que la cultura o ley más bien es que sea el primer varón quien tome posesión de la corona una vez que el rey muera así que no estaba difícil de escoger, sin embargo fue bastante cuestionable dado que el hijo mayor era alguien cuya personalidad y porte era de un hombre más no de un rey.

Digo esto, porque incluso durante el desarrollo de la trama, el nuevo sucesor considera el hecho de que su vida hubiese sido diferente a la de un rey, menciona que incluso pudo haber sido un campesino feliz viviendo con su familia, criando ganado y procreando.

Es bastante entendible considerando todo el peso que se le viene encima a los hombros no solo con un título tan importante, también la responsabilidad de mantener la paz y el equilibrio en los siete reinos algo que pues, básicamente es imposible porque nadie estará contento con todas las decisiones y falta de atención que pueda haber dentro del reino para con el pueblo.

Este rey, pasa por una de las pruebas más duras de su vida, elegir entre escoger la vida de dos seres amados es algo impensable, pero ante la necesidad de un sucesor varios, una decisión marca precedentes doloroso en esta familia.

[English Text] As a first page they show the king of the seven kingdoms giving his verdict on who should be his successor, the point is that the culture or rather law is that it is the first male who takes possession of the crown once the king dies so it was not difficult to choose, however it was quite questionable given that the eldest son was someone whose personality and demeanor was of a man rather than a king.


I say this, because even during the plot development, the new successor considers the fact that his life would have been different from that of a king, he mentions that he could even have been a happy peasant living with his family, raising cattle and procreating.


It is quite understandable considering all the weight that comes on his shoulders not only with such an important title, but also the responsibility of maintaining peace and balance in the seven kingdoms, something that is basically impossible because no one will be happy with all the decisions and lack of attention there may be within the kingdom for the people.


This king, goes through one of the hardest tests of his life, choosing between choosing the lives of two loved ones is unthinkable, but in the need for a successor several, a decision marks painful precedents in this family.

Sin embargo, por otro lado está la primogénita de este rey, quien muestra ser no solo una joven inteligente, también alguien rebelde que de cierto modo influencia indirectamente a su padre para que este rompa las reglas de tradición sobre quién debe ser su próximo sucesor.

Por supuesto las casas de los reinos lo que buscan es que el rey tenga un hijo, y en este mismo sentido una de estas aprovecha la soledad y tristeza del rey para ofrecer a sus mujeres para que sean el deleite del rey e incluso tengan la posibilidad de convertirse en la próxima reina quien engendre al sucesor.

Pero pues, antes de que todo esto pase, y por la presión tanto de una enfermedad producida por las cortaduras del trono de espadas, como las aguas caldeadas del reino ante quién debe ser el nuevo rey fuera del linaje real, este rompe la tradición y nombra a su hija como la futura heredera y reina.

Por supuesto bastante criticado por los líderes de las casas quienes mostraron su descontento, pero con el tiempo, la firmeza del rey les hace recapacitar incluso prometer lealtad ante su decisión, reconocer que su hija es y será la reina.

Of course the houses of the kingdoms what they seek is that the king has a son, and in this same sense one of these takes advantage of the loneliness and sadness of the king to offer their women to be the delight of the king and even have the possibility of becoming the next queen who begets the successor.


But then, before all this happens, and under the pressure of both a disease caused by the cuts of the throne of swords, and the heated waters of the kingdom before who should be the new king out of the royal lineage, he breaks the tradition and names his daughter as the future heir and queen.

Sin embargo, detrás de todo esto hay un misterio sobre el poder y la traición. Una persona directa del rey mueve ciertas piezas que van encajando en cada suceso de la historia, consiguiendo que el rey tenga a su "primogénito" varón.

Mientras que en ese mismo tiempo su hija es presentada y casada con uno de sus primos para fortalecer la alianza entre las familias. La cuestión es que este príncipe tiene unos gustos bastantes marcados con respecto a ella, pero nada que entre ellos no se pueda negociar.

Sin embargo, el nuevo linaje engendrado por la reina sucesora, es bastante cuestionado dado que los targaryen tienen algo en común que los representan, y es el hecho de su cabello siempre es blanco, todo lo contrario al que poseen sus hijos.

Entonces, aquí el reino entre un poco en lo caótico de toda la situación. Un rey que está muriendo poco a poco, y quién se niega a cambiar su palabra de quien debe ser el sucesor, y por otro lado está su hija, legal sucesora quien es señalada como una golfa quien tuvo relaciones extramatrimoniales y cuyos hijos se convierten a los ojos de muchos en unos bastardos.

! [English Text] However, behind all this there is a mystery about power and betrayal. A direct person of the king moves certain pieces that are fitting in each event of the story, getting the king to have his "firstborn" male.


While at the same time his daughter is presented and married to one of her cousins to strengthen the alliance between the families. The thing is that this prince has quite marked tastes with respect to her, but nothing that between them can not be negotiated.


However, the new lineage sired by the successor queen, is quite questioned since the Targaryen have something in common that represents them, and that is the fact that their hair is always white, the opposite of what their children have.


So, here the kingdom enters a bit into the chaos of the whole situation. A king who is dying little by little, and who refuses to change his word of who should be the successor, and on the other hand there is his daughter, legal successor who is pointed out as a tramp who had extramarital affairs and whose children become in the eyes of many bastards.

Esto es algo que al enemigo les da mucha ventaja, y empiezan los reales conflictos empezando directamente con la familia interna, primos y tíos que no se soportan e incluso llegan a enfrentarse.

Amigas del pasado que se vuelven madres capaces de hacer lo que sea necesario para que sus hijos estén bien o quienes le hayan hecho daño paguen las consecuencias.

Y por supuesto dragones que con conquistados y esperados para lo que parece ser un enfrentamiento por la corona ante la traición de muchas personas importante quienes llevan a coronar a un rey ilegítimo luego de la presunta muerte del rey.

Destacándose básicamente en los últimos capítulos como lo mejor de la serie dado que en su mayoría es historia tras historia, hay mucha menos acción que en GOT, pero era esperarse en una serie necesaria para no solo mostrar más sobre la vida de la familia real originaria. También sentí que fue un ejemplo de las atrocidades que son capaces las madres cuando sus hijos son masacrados.

! [English Text] This is something that gives the enemy a lot of advantage, and the real conflicts begin, starting directly with the internal family, cousins and uncles who can't stand each other and even confront each other.


Friends from the past who become mothers capable of doing whatever it takes to make their children well or those who have harmed them pay the consequences.


And of course dragons that with conquered and expected for what seems to be a confrontation for the crown before the betrayal of many important people who lead to crown an illegitimate king after the presumed death of the king.


Standing out basically in the last few chapters as the best of the series since it is mostly story after story, there is much less action than in GOT, but it was to be expected in a series needed to not only show more about the life of the original royal family. I also felt it was an example of the atrocities mothers are capable of when their children are slaughtered.

Puede que a muchas personas les parezca que haya sido una precuela aburrida considerando que GOT hay más acción, muertes, sangre e historias más interesantes. Pero debo admitir que yo sentí esto al inicio, los últimos capítulos de esta serie me atraparon por completo.

Ese final te deja con sed de venganza y a la tentativa de que pronto habrá una segunda temporada la cual será muy hablada y con esa chispa extra de acción y sangre que se esperaba.

! [English Text] It may seem to many people that it was a boring prequel considering that GOT has more action, deaths, blood and more interesting stories. But I must admit that I felt this at the beginning, the last chapters of this series completely grabbed me.


That ending leaves you with a thirst for revenge and the tentative that soon there will be a second season which will be very talked about and with that extra spark of action and blood that was expected.
