La chica de Nieve (netflix series review)

Feliz fin de semana Hivers, la noche de este viernes mi pareja y yo nos hemos degustado enteramente la nueva serie esperada en Netflix. Esta basada en el libro de Javier Castillo y lleva el mismo titulo "La chica de Nieve".

Happy weekend Hivers, this Friday night my partner and I have entirely savored the new series expected on Netflix. It is based on the book by Javier Castillo and has the same title "La chica de Nieve".

Si les soy sincero aún no se la relación que tiene el titulo con la trama, tal vez en el libro se explique de una mejor forma, lo que si es garantizado es que tiene una trama bastante interesante e inquietante.

If I'm honest I still don't know the relationship that the title has with the plot, maybe in the book it will be explained in a better way, what is guaranteed is that it has a very interesting and disturbing plot.

El suspenso es algo realmente fuerte, pues no solo se trata sobre el secuestro de una niña el día de reyes del 2010, sino que también avivan los sentimientos y traumas de una pasante de una empresa de reportajes que da a veces un escalofrió en la piel.

The suspense is something really strong, because it is not only about the kidnapping of a girl on Christmas Day 2010, but also revives the feelings and traumas of an intern of a reporting company that sometimes gives a chill on the skin.

Hay que ser bastantes detallista con esta serie de 6 capítulos porque al inicio se emplean 2 tiempos, el día que fue secuestrada la niña y el tiempo actual que ha pasado desde el primer intento de capturar al secuestrador y dar con el paradero de ella.

You have to be quite detailed with this series of 6 chapters because at the beginning 2 times are used, the day the girl was kidnapped and the current time that has passed since the first attempt to capture the kidnapper and find her whereabouts.

Por consiguiente, se muestra el proceso de dicho secuestro desde el punto de vista de los padres y luego desde el punto de vista del secuestrador, creo que a partir del capitulo 5. Además que se muestra ahora 3 tiempos, 2010, 2016 y 2019.

Therefore, the process of the kidnapping is shown from the point of view of the parents and then from the point of view of the kidnapper, I think from chapter 5. In addition it is now shown 3 times, 2010, 2016 and 2019.

Entonces para no perdernos cualquier detalle y poder sacar nuestras propias conclusiones es importante prestar la debida atención a absolutamente todo, desde los saludos, las voces, el entorno e ir más allá de solo una hipótesis implementada por los mismos actores.

So in order not to miss any detail and to be able to draw our own conclusions it is important to pay due attention to absolutely everything, from the greetings, the voices, the environment and go beyond just a hypothesis implemented by the actors themselves.

Como les había comentado anteriormente, una pareja con su hija visitan el desfile por el día de reyes, y entre la euforia, emoción, lluvia y multitud, un evento infortunio la pequeña Amaya se pierde entre las personas.

As I mentioned before, a couple and their daughter visit the parade for the day of kings, and among the euphoria, excitement, rain and crowd, an unfortunate event, little Amaya gets lost among the people.

Ante la desesperación sus padres empiezan a buscarla entre gritos, lagrimas y seguramente con el corazón en la boca. Inmediatamente se reporta la niña perdida a un escuadrón policial que estaba dando seguridad en el evento pero nunca dan con el paradero de la niña.

In desperation, her parents begin to look for her amidst screams, tears and surely with their hearts in their mouths. Immediately the missing girl is reported to a police squad that was providing security at the event but they never find her.

A partir de allí empieza el quiebre y desgracia de esta pareja quienes se cuestionan entre si y lo que pasó realmente esos segundos de descuido. Ya luego bajo la ficha policial se descubre que se trataba de un secuestro. Por supuesto que esta familia no escatima en la búsqueda de su hija, acuden a medios de comunicación y todo lo que sea necesario para tenerla de regreso.

From there begins the breakdown and misfortune of this couple who question each other and what really happened during those seconds of carelessness. Later, under the police file, it is discovered that it was a kidnapping. Of course, this family does not skimp on the search for their daughter, they turn to the media and everything necessary to have her back.

Hay que tomar en cuenta que en la vida real las primeras horas de un secuestro siempre son importantes, el momento perfecto para revisar todos los rincones cercanos, aeropuertos, puertos marítimos y todas las cámaras de seguridad que hayan estado habilitados cercano al hecho.

It must be taken into account that in real life the first hours of a kidnapping are always important, the perfect time to check all the nearby corners, airports, seaports and all the security cameras that have been enabled close to the event.

Lo interesante aquí en es cómo dos historias diferentes guardan una conexión entre si. Hablamos de un secuestro y por otro lado de un abuso sexual, que con el tiempo se descubre que se trata de una red oscura de material pornográfico infantil.

The interesting thing here is how two different stories are connected. We talk about a kidnapping and on the other hand a sexual abuse, which eventually is discovered to be a dark network of child pornographic material.

Se cuestiona mucho quien es quien en la serie, algo que de cierto modo si bien no trae beneficio directo a la investigación, hace que se vaya descartando diferentes objetivos o fichajes sobre personas que muestran un lado de sospecha bastante notorio.

There is a lot of questioning about who is who in the series, something that in a certain way, although it does not bring direct benefit to the investigation, it makes it possible to discard different targets or signings of people who show a quite notorious side of suspicion.

Hay escenas muy fuertes con respecto a la violación, pero también hablamos de asesinatos y suicidios, una trama completa en cuanto al caos que puede darse al descubrirse tantos secretos malignos.

There are very strong scenes regarding rape, but we are also talking about murders and suicides, a complete plot in terms of the chaos that can occur when so many evil secrets are discovered.

La verdad es que aun sin ser padre ese sentimiento de perder a alguien es algo indescriptible, y el problema de esto es que a veces hace perder la fe y la mayoría de las veces es un detonante para el rompimiento de una relación pues empiezan las culpabilidades y señalamientos que si bien son innecesarios porque no devuelve nada hay que entender que es una forma natural para poder excusar una culpa propia.

The truth is that even without being a parent that feeling of losing someone is something indescribable, and the problem is that sometimes it makes you lose faith and most of the time it is a trigger for the breakup of a relationship because the guilt and finger-pointing begin, which although they are unnecessary because it does not return anything, we must understand that it is a natural way to excuse one's own guilt.

Una de las cosas que más me gusto en la entereza y firmeza de esta mujer al enfrentar sus miedos para poder lograr obtener pistas sobre el paradero de Amaya. Ante la frustración de no poder lograr ponerle fin a su caso, sintiéndose abandonada por los cuerpo policiales, ella de cierto modo quiere redimir lo que otros no hicieron por ella con sus propios actos que muchas veces atenta con su propia vida y salud mental.

One of the things I liked most about this woman's fortitude and firmness in facing her fears in order to obtain clues to Amaya's whereabouts. Faced with the frustration of not being able to put an end to her case, feeling abandoned by the police, she somehow wants to redeem what others did not do for her with her own actions, which often threatens her own life and mental health.

Cabe la casualidad que cada pista se conecta con su propio trauma y caso, algo que de cierto modo influye también a querer llegar al final de todo esto y por supuesto lograr dar con Amaya con vida para regresarla a sus padres.

It is a coincidence that each clue is connected to her own trauma and case, something that in a way also influences her to want to get to the end of all this and of course to find Amaya alive to return her to her parents.

Sin embargo, y dejando a un lado la trama de esta serie, que por cierto hay una posibilidad de tener una segunda temporada con otro caso diferente; es que debemos aprender a que la vida en si y las personas también tienen un lado malo, debemos estar más al pendiente de nuestros hijos, creo que yo como padre no lo soltaría a mi hijo dentro de una multitud incluso ni lo llevaría hasta ese tipo de eventos donde las personas muy fácilmente se pueden dejar llevar por la euforia.

However, and leaving aside the plot of this series, which by the way there is a possibility of having a second season with a different case; is that we must learn that life itself and people also have a bad side, we must be more aware of our children, I think that as a parent I would not let my son loose in a crowd even take him to such events where people can easily get carried away by euphoria.

Lo otro es que es bastante cuestionable y real el comportamiento de la ley, más que todo porque también hay un punto de falta de personal en un caso que en la vida real es muy repetitivo y que por cierto, hoy en día mucho más se escucha en las noticias secuestros de niños.

The other thing is that the behavior of the law is quite questionable and real, mostly because there is also a point of lack of personnel in a case that in real life is very repetitive and by the way, today much more is heard in the news child abductions.

En si es una serie que recomiendo al 100%, no se si tiene una excelente adaptación al libro, pero aun así no deja de ser una trama de hechos reales que representa muy bien lo que es llevar un trauma en si, representar la impotencia de las distintas personas y el hecho de que nadie esta libre de pecado.

It is a series that I recommend 100%, I do not know if it has an excellent adaptation to the book, but even so it is still a plot of real events that represents very well what it is to carry a trauma in itself, represent the helplessness of the different people and the fact that no one is free of sin.
