Voy a empezar reseñando que siento que ha sido una falta de respeto que esta película animada no saliera en el cine, segun veo y tengo entendido solo se transmitió en Netflix y en algunas salas selectas de Estados Unidos. Esta trama tiene todo el calibre para ser vista en la sala de cina, con amigos, familia y cotufa en manos. Así que, no se qué pasó allí, tal vez cuestión de marketing.
Siendo el sello K-pop lo que más llama la atención de esta película, no debe ser una sorpresa que fuese una trama cantada y al mejor estilo asiático. Yo personalmente no soy muy afán al Kpop solo con algunas excepciones.
Pero debo admitir que cada una de las melodías y letras que se expresaron en el desarrollo de esta historia me ha fascinado, a tal punto que la puesta de escena en conjunto con las canciones me hicieron poner la piel de gallina.
Así que no es una sorpresa el éxito que ha tenido esta película no solo en la plataforma de streaming, también en los charts de música a nivel mundial, siendo que llegaron a estar en puestos de alta categoría.

So I’m not sure what happened there maybe a marketing decision?
Given that the K-pop label is the film’s biggest draw, it’s no surprise that the plot unfolds through music, in true Asian style. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of K-pop, with only a few exceptions.
But I have to admit, every melody and lyric woven into the story captivated me. The staging combined with the songs gave me goosebumps.
So it’s no surprise this film has been such a success—not just on the streaming platform, but also on global music charts, even reaching top tier positions.
Extrañamente voy a hablar de paletas de colores y contrastes porque todas las escenas son muy coloridas y de alguna forma representa en este caso un azul y dorado por el bien, y un magenta muy brillante por el lado del mal (demonios); esto último da la sensación de ser coloridamente amigable para los más pequeños de la casa.
En cuanto a los personajes, lo que más me ha encantado son las caras extrañas que ponen lo cual hace que se vean como nuestras expresiones naturales en reacción a algo, en este caso algo grande y eufórico.
Las tres chicas del Kpop son totalmente distintas, tanto en personalidades como en la forma de vestir y expresarse, incluso podría afirmar que son de etnias distintas, y aun así parecen una sola persona cuando están en el escenario y sobre todo juntas.
La historia si bien es un poco predecible, es totalmente encantadora. Pues se refleja el mensaje de hermandad, de lucha; importante también del sentirse distinto y a veces perdidos, y por supuesto la oportunidad al cambio.
Strangely enough, I’m going to talk about color palettes and contrasts, because every scene is incredibly vibrant. Somehow, the film uses blue and gold to represent good, while a bright magenta symbolizes evil (the demons). Interestingly, that magenta gives off a playfully friendly vibe especially appealing to younger viewers.
As for the characters, what I loved most were the quirky facial expressions. They felt so natural, almost like our own reactions to something big and euphoric.
The three K-pop girls are completely different, from their personalities to their clothing styles and ways of expressing themselves. I’d even say they seem to come from different ethnic backgrounds. Yet, when they’re on stage especially together they feel like one single force.
The story, while a bit predictable, is absolutely charming. It conveys a message of sisterhood, of struggle; and just as importantly, of feeling different or lost at times and of course, the chance to change.

El final sí me tomó por sorpresa aunque ya yo estaba un poco adelantado de tal escena por los videos en tik tok, sin embargo lo disfrute de un todo, es una trama muy sana para ver con los niños, una historia que puede incluso motivarlos a ser buenos ciudadanos dentro de la sociedad.
Me encanto ver esa guerra de grupos kpops con canciones pegadizas que para algunos puede sonar algo repetitivo, pero pues no dejan de ser buenas para la ocasión de diversión.

I loved seeing that battle between K-pop groups, with catchy songs that, while some might find a bit repetitive, are undeniably fun and fitting for the occasion.
