Le patient (netflix movie review)

Hola chicos, feliz domingo lluvioso para todos ustedes. Bueno por acá en Maturín, específicamente donde vivo amaneció lloviendo desde temprano, por lo que hace un frio bastante sabroso.

Hi guys, happy rainy Sunday to all of you. Well, here in Maturin, specifically where I live, it started raining early in the morning, so it's pretty cold.

Anoche por supuesto luego del día a día nos hemos acostado a mirar una película que teníamos pendiente y que por cierto nos debatimos un poco porque fue también una opción entre "el celular del señor Harrigan", que por cierto a mi parecer es mucho mejor que esta de hoy.

Last night of course after the day to day we went to bed to watch a movie that we had pending and that by the way we debated a little because it was also a choice between "Mr. Harrigan's cell phone", which by the way in my opinion is much better than this one today.

Esta trama es particular me gusta, pero siento que la proyección que le dieron o más bien la historia en la que se ha introducido, no fue la más acertada debido a que toda la película se volvió muy obvia.

I like this particular plot, but I feel that the projection they gave it or rather the story in which it has been introduced, was not the most successful because the whole movie became very obvious.

A pesar de que el tema sobre los trastornos mentales son muy importantes de mostrar, siempre hay que tener cuidado de que los espectadores no se den cuenta tan rápidamente tratándose que se intente hacer una trama con suspenso y hechos bastantes fuertes.

Although the theme of mental disorders are very important to show, you always have to be careful that viewers do not realize so quickly trying to make a plot with suspense and quite strong facts.

Pero bueno, antes de entrar en materia. Hay algo en lo que me pude identificar bastante pero que voy a omitir porque es un pasado ya pisado que si bien forma parte de mi vida, no lo esta ya en mi presente.

But well, before getting into the subject. There is something in which I could identify myself a lot but I will omit it because it is a past that is already in my life, although it is part of my life, it is not in my present.

Sin embargo, el punto quiebre de toda esta historia es el hecho de las carencias paternales, que por cierto, no son porque no estén con vida, creo más bien que es lo contrario, hay tal vez una carencia de perdón o reconciliación de si mismos de estos padres ante una situación que tal vez les ha pegado duro. No puedo decirlo porque seria un tremendo spoiler.

However, the breaking point of this whole story is the fact of parental shortcomings, which by the way, are not because they are not alive, I think it is rather the opposite, there is perhaps a lack of forgiveness or self-reconciliation of these parents to a situation that may have hit them hard. I can't say because it would be a tremendous spoiler.

Pero bueno, esto ha llevado a que se alimente de una forma errónea el alma de cierta persona y con ello se haya creado tal vez un monstruo para la sociedad, pero para la misma pudiera ser un arma para defenderse del dolor que es sentirse en soledad.

But well, this has led to a certain person's soul being fed in the wrong way and with it, perhaps a monster has been created for society, but for society itself it could be a weapon to defend itself from the pain of feeling alone.

Esto nos lleva a una disfunción familiar muy notoria, y de la cual terceros involucrados hacen que todo sea un completo caos. Creo que cuando una familia esta rota, primero necesita sanar ellos mismos, luego en un conjunto para poder superar todo y ponerse al hombro los problemas de un tercero.

This leads to a very noticeable family dysfunction, and of which third parties involved make everything a complete chaos. I believe that when a family is broken, they first need to heal themselves, then as a whole to overcome everything and shoulder the problems of a third party.

Esta es una película es de atrás hacia adelante, es decir primero vemos el suceso principal que lleva a un sobreviviente al hospital, alguien clave para poder descubrir la verdad te todo lo sucedido esa noche de tormenta.

This is a film is back to front, that is first we see the main event that leads to a survivor to the hospital, someone key to discover the truth of everything that happened that stormy night.

Sin embargo no es una tarea fácil por parte de la psicólogo porque el paciente pierde las memorias y también lucha con la rehabilitación de su cuerpo porque estuvo en coma por 3 años desde ese entonces.

However it is not an easy task for the psychologist because the patient loses his memories and also struggles with the rehabilitation of his body because he was in a coma for 3 years since then.

Perseguido por un recuerdo y por algo que atenta con su vida, nos hacen parecer que todo fue obra de otra persona que esta desaparecida.

Haunted by a memory and by something that threatens his life, we are made to believe that it was all the work of someone else who is missing.

Pero resulta que la realidad puede ser tan cruda, que te lleva hasta donde estas. Las grietas de por si se van expandiendo, hasta dar por descubierto la verdad.

But it turns out that reality can be so stark, it takes you right back to where you are. The cracks in itself are expanding, until the truth is uncovered.
