Saludos Hivers, feliz y provechoso domingo para todos ustedes. Pudiera ser día de descanso pero yo me lo he tomado ayer ya que el día estaba un poco pesado y los ánimos no estaban muy bien que digamos, sin embargo aquí estamos y pues hubo un poco de tiempo también para mirar una muy mala pelicula.
Greetings Hivers, happy and profitable Sunday to all of you. It could be a rest day but I took it yesterday as the day was a bit heavy and the mood was not very good, however here we are and there was some time to watch a very bad movie.
Ultimamente mi pareja y yo hemos estado haciendo caso a las recomendaciones de sus pacientes, la vez pasada nos recomendaron la enfermera que fue demasiado buena la verdad, ahora otro paciente le ha recomendado ver The Lodge, que por cierto no sé qué significa pero con lo malo que ha sido la experiencia como espectador, no me quedan ganas de saberlo.
Lately my partner and I have been paying attention to the recommendations of his patients, last time they recommended The Nurse which was too good to be true, now another patient has recommended him to watch The Lodge, which by the way I don't know what it means but with how bad the experience has been as a viewer, I don't want to know.
Cuando vi el trailer y parte del avance pense que seria una historia de familia con bastantes problemas disfuncionales que buscaban tal vez una solución para no llegar a tener que divorciarse y enfrentar todo lo que esto conlleva.
When I saw the trailer and part of the preview I thought it would be a story of a family with many dysfunctional problems that were looking for a solution to avoid having to get divorced and face all that this entails.
Pero pues, las primeras escenas de esta trama me han dejado bastante perturbado con un suicidio muy marcado porque el momento es delicado y los detalles son muy pronunciados.
But well, the first scenes of this plot have left me quite disturbed with a very marked suicide because the moment is delicate and the details are very pronounced.
Una de las cosas que me hizo pensar ese momento es el hecho que no podemos aferrarnos a la vida de otra persona, es decir, nuestra vida en si no puede depender de estar con alguien y que el no hacerlo sea una amenaza para nosotros mismos, realmente no concibo que sea una de las razones por la cual una persona pueda tomar la decisión de acabar así.

De una u otra forma estos niños tienen que enfrentar una separación y por supuesto lo duro de perder a un ser querido.
A mi parecer hay un comportamiento bastante egoísta de parte del padre al querer básicamente obligarlos a compartir y hacer una vida con quien sería una de las razones del divorcio, la otra.
Es difícil de por sí para los hijos cuando sus padres se separan, mucho más cuando pierden a su madre, pero en esta trama hay un elemento aún más misterioso y oscuro que dificultaría mucho más las cosas y es el pasado de la nueva novia.
Los cultos de por si a mi me han parecido desagradable, son acciones exotéricas que según mi conocimiento la mayoría de las veces carecen de fundamentos bíblicos. Pero bueno, que la idea no es hacer un debate religioso, pero es importante en esta trama porque forma parte del pasado de esta nueva mujer, que al mirarla solo llegue a decir que era una loca.
Tiene ese aspecto de ser alguien que esconde algo, o un alma cuyo espíritu maligno se le facilita entrar y hacer de las suyas, sin embargo al ver que se estaba medicando cambie de idea al pensar que sufría de ansiedad o algo parecido como un trastorno tal vez de lo sucedido en su pasado.
In one way or another these children have to face a separation and of course the hardness of losing a loved one.
In my opinion there is quite a selfish behavior on the part of the father to basically force them to share and make a life with the one who would be one of the reasons for the divorce, the other.
It is difficult in itself for the children when their parents separate, much more when they lose their mother, but in this plot there is an even more mysterious and dark element that would make things much more difficult and it is the past of the new girlfriend.
The cults in themselves to me have seemed unpleasant, they are exoteric actions that according to my knowledge most of the times lack biblical foundations. But well, the idea is not to make a religious debate, but it is important in this plot because it is part of the past of this new woman, that when I looked at her I could only say that she was crazy.
She has that aspect of being someone who hides something, or a soul whose evil spirit makes it easy for her to enter and do her thing, however when I saw that she was taking medication I changed my mind thinking that she suffered from anxiety or something similar as a disorder perhaps from what happened in her past.
Cuando esta nueva familia o intento de ello se reúnen en una cabaña a darle una nueva oportunidad a la vida, empieza a suceder cosas bastantes siniestras que le da un toque terrorífico por así decirlo a la trama.
When this new family, or an attempt at it, gets together in a cabin to give life a new chance, quite sinister things start to happen, which gives a terrifying touch to the plot, so to speak.
Yo presentía esto desde un inicio, pues cada vez que veo que en una película hay una casa grande de juguetes muy bien armada y con muñecos que representan cada personaje siempre me da mala espina, y lo digo porque no me gusta el terror y cuando hay este elemento no falta aquello que me asuste.
I knew this from the beginning, because every time I see a movie with a big house with toys and dolls that represent each character it always gives me a bad feeling, and I say that because I don't like horror and when there is this element there is always something that scares me.
Pero bueno, les dije que era bastante mala la película así que no hay escenas de terror, creo más bien que la mayoría son perturbadoras.
But well, I told you that the movie was pretty bad so there are no horror scenes, I think most of them are disturbing.
No creo que el hecho de ser una persona con un pasado tan turbio y pecadora le lleve a parecer y hacer cosas descabelladas, me hubiese gustado que esto realmente se mezclara un poco con un lado espiritual, es decir, que el personaje en si estuviera influenciado por algún mal y no por lo loca que es.
I don't think that the fact that she is a person with such a shady past and sinful leads her to look and do crazy things, I would have liked this to really be mixed a bit with a spiritual side, that is, that the character herself was influenced by some evil and not because of how crazy she is.
Esto lo digo más que todo en el sentido de que la trama básicamente se trata de lo tan enfermizo que puede ser una persona con una creencia tan errada que le lleva a convertirse en un verdugo de la vida ante los pecados.
I say this mostly in the sense that the plot is basically about how sickening a person can be with such a misguided belief that leads them to become an executioner of life in the face of sins.
Y si bien sabemos, son los espíritus malos los que se alimentan de esto, así que me hubiese gustado más ver ese tipo de terror para que la historia fuera un poco convincente.
And as we all know, it's the evil spirits that feed off of this, so I would have liked to see more of that kind of terror to make the story a bit compelling.
El final por supuesto es bastante obvio y esperado, el ambiente siempre se mantiene en suspenso pero a veces tiende a volverse confuso y aburrido.
The ending of course is pretty obvious and expected, the atmosphere is always kept suspenseful but at times it tends to get confusing and boring.
En sí, lo único que nos deja claro es que no podemos jugar con la mente de una persona que está rota, es decir, que está lo bastante desquiciada como para detenerse a darse cuenta y redimirse.

Ajaja parece que esta de moda, pero suele suceder mucho en netflix, me gustaria que añadieran algunas críticas en su plataforma a ver si evitamos este mal sabor la próxima vez.
Wow se ve buenìsima esta película, toda esa aura de misterio siempre me ha parecido atractiva, vi el trailer y me llamó mucho la atención.
Buena para ti, porque la verdad para mi fue una pérdida de tiempo. Aun me sangran los ojos ahahaha
