The Whale (movie review)

Saludos Hivers, feliz martes para todos ustedes. Antes de empezar esta reseña quiero recordarles que hoy es el día mundial del Síndrome de Down, para quienes tienen a ese ser especial, y digo esta palabra en un sentido que estas personas son diferentes, en su mayoría son felices y nos roban gratas sonrisas, son muy pero muy inteligentes y hacen de cierto modo este mundo mejor para quienes les respetan y conviven con ellos. Supongo que a veces se vuelve muy difícil por culpa de la sociedad, pero hay otros momentos que les hace sentir felices y valientes.

Greetings Hivers, happy Tuesday to all of you. Before I start this review I want to remind you that today is the world day of Down Syndrome, for those who have that special being, and I say this word in a sense that these people are different, most of them are happy and steal us pleasant smiles, they are very but very intelligent and in a way they make this world better for those who respect them and live with them. I guess sometimes it becomes very difficult because of society, but there are other moments that make them feel happy and brave.

Ahora bien, yo debo pedir un aplauso en serio por esta película porque solo pude ver la mitad y me tenia totalmente enganchado, y si, como lo leen solo puede ver la mitad de la película porque tuvimos que salir de la sala de cine a atender una emergencia médica.

Now, I must ask for a serious applause for this movie because I could only see half of it and I was totally hooked, and yes, as you read I could only see half of the movie because we had to leave the theater to attend a medical emergency.

It is overwhelming the different consequences that can result from the loss of a loved one. Of course it always manifests itself in the worst way. It is not clear to me the reason why this person chose to get fat until he looks like a whale, something that is very much related to the story of the whale he always reads, or well, more than a story it is an analytical essay about it.

Nunca espere que dentro de la trama hubiese un tema tan puntual sobre la homosexualidad, y agregado a ello un tanto de religión para hacerlo un poco más controversial.

Sentí que estaban desarrollando una vida totalmente real, conozco muchos amigos que antes de hacer una vida 100% homosexual, tuvieron una relación hetero incluso de casados donde involucra hijos también. Aqui esto esta muy presente, y es un hecho que la mayoría de las veces siempre trae problemas sobre la custodia y se crea ese celo innecesario entre los padres y sus hijos.

I felt that they were developing a totally real life, I know many friends who before making a 100% homosexual life, had a straight relationship even married where it involves children as well. Claro hay que pensar también en la parte emocional, está destruido, pero hay un hijo de por medio y creo que eso es razón suficiente para intentar hacer un cambio.

I think this person leads a very complicated life, something that can easily be seen in real life. Obesity is a very common disease that drags others, and by the time you want to seek help sometimes it is too late or the person is filled with so many insecurities and complexities that prefers to continue in his own hell. Of course you also have to think about the emotional part, he is destroyed, but there is a child involved and I think that is reason enough to try to make a change.

No se si este cambio se llevó a cabo al final de esta trama, ya luego me entero cuando al descargue y termine de ver, pero sin duda alguna es bien merecido el Oscar a este actor que de cierto modo indirecto se siente bastante relacionado a los sentimientos de este hombre.

I don't know if this change took place at the end of this plot, I'll find out later when I download it and finish watching it, but without a doubt the Oscar is well deserved for this actor who in a certain indirect way feels quite related to the feelings of this man.
